Haiku

Dean Koontz's excellent novel False Memories deals with brainwashed patients who commit crimes when trigger by a Haiku. Haiku is a form of poetry that tells a story with only three lines of verse, five syllables in the first and third lines, seven in the second. The possibilities are endless.

You fucked me over

You rotten little bastard.

Puberty denied.

See the pretty knife?

See his heavy balls dangle?

Not no more, they don't.

Hairy sack hangs low,

Flashing slashing knife cuts quick,

Love the new smooth look.

Young love, no condom,

Angry father, big problem.

Baby makers gone.
