A few updates. Since 3/3/2023, with my doctor's approval, I have begun tapering off Sertraline (Zoloft) on half dose, i.e., 25 mg. After 3 weeks of that, I cut the dose down to 12.5 mg. On 3/29, I stopped all Sertraline without any withdrawal difficulties.
However, although the difficulty in reaching orgasms start easing, it is still rare and require a lot of work. I do enjoy the penis staying soft most of the time.
When I do get to orgasm, I have a dry orgasm. I still enjoy shooting blanks, better than no orgasm at all ... I guess.
Wonder if other ex-Zoloft users experience dry orgasms.

Re: Starting on Zoloft
So I have been on Zoloft now for a year. My doc has slowly ramped it up from 25mg to now 100mg a day. My experience have been very positive from a depression front. No more irrational anger. Anxiety is way down. My motivation is much higher. I am actually enjoying life again. That being said there has been one major side effect. My sex drive is gone. At 25mg it was more difficult to get off. At 50mg it look much longer. I have now been on 100mg for a few weeks and it is basically impossible now. I tried for 2 hours at one point only to give up. This is something I am happy with but just a heads up that this can happen when on it. As with everything YMMV and please see a doctor for this one. There are many more side effects that may hit you if you are not lucky.
