My experience with Zoloft was pretty much as you describe. The issue became my partner being disappointed that I couldn't cum, I was too!

This and Effexor (sometimes called No-Sex-Or), have the same problems, at least for me. Desire is present, depression is alleviated, but then the one thing we get in life to enjoy for free, won't happen. LOL

Mother nature is a cruel bitch.

Yeah! Not being able to reach orgasm alone is pretty depressing. 🔨

I especially hated the drive was there, and you could get the tingles signifying an orgasm was close, but you just couldn't get there.

These people who always talk about wanting to get castrated or nullified to have sexual frustration don't need that, because you can still have orgasms as a eunuch or nullo. Instead, what they need is Effexor. That will DEFINITELY give them what they seek, genital removal optional.

I can see the commercials now...

Do you seek to have complete sexual frustration? Do you wish to maintain your high sex drive while working on yourself for hours in the pursuit of an unachievable orgasm? If so, then search no further! Ask your doctor if Effexor® is right for you.

So this thread reminded me to schedule a visit with my doctor about getting my depression treated. Surprisingly he gave me a prescription for Zoloft as well. Thanks for giving me that final push to start taking better care of myself.

Some of us seriously are thinking about this, for that exact reason.

Well I can tell you from experience, that's exactly what happens. I wanted to but couldn't. And since that's never been my goal, it was a disappointment because it worked for the reasons I was taking it, otherwise.

Earlier in the thread I think you'd implied having tried both zoloft and effexor. Did you try any others? I've been trying to figure out which of the many options would be ideal for me, but individual reactions seem to vary. I have two friends who said they had no libido at all on zoloft. I want to keep my libido, I just want to stop ejaculating.

I'm not a pharmacist, and can only relate my own personal experience. Want a hyper sex drive and no way to get off... Effexor had that impact on me, and it was an undesired one.

I was recently put on Lexapro for a mix of anxiety and depression. The Dr was really making sure I would be okay if it made me less able to perform. I assured him that as a eunuch on estradiol that being hard and using my dick for sex was not something I was worried about. I just started taking it and don't have any real evidence yet that it is causing more ED.

Another update. Now that I've been on Zoloft for 2 months. My dick now consistently tucks itself inside my body. I still have sufficient libido to want to have sex, both with my partner and just by myself. Indeed, getting hard is very difficult to achieve. Getting to orgasm is even harder.

However, I still enjoy the soft dicklet being played on. Many a morning, I would roll it, even though it is tucked, between my palms (a way of masturbation that I enjoyed when I was very young and had a long foreskin). I enjoyed feeling the dicklet staying small and soft between my palms, and its sensation is good. Once or twice, after a very long time, I did almost reach orgasm. As someone who liked edging, I stopped just short of reaching orgasm. Having said that, I would have liked to be able to reach orgasm when I want one. Now on Zoloft, these pleasures seem to be very difficult to achieve. At least, I have learned to enjoy the journey, regardless of whether I get to an orgasm or not.
