Can boy-eunuchs "get it up"?

Post by C van D (imported) »

In his comments on my story "Will it hurt, sequence 2" member Joska Pista reminds us rather unnecessarily that eunuchs are not all impotent, though he concedes that "Boy-eunuchs may have quite a job getting it up".

In every one of my stories I make the assumption that once a boy has been "done" especially a preteen, he in no longer capable of doing what is commonly regarded as "normal sex". Besides this, your learned and very well read author Pueros makes the point, in his historical saga "Tamerlane's Boys" that one of his central figures, an 11-year-old named Vissarion, becomes impotent from the moment of having his testicles cut out.

So, what is the score? I await your comments with interest.

No, boys are not impotent. Not all of them.

For example, I started to masturbate long before puberty. Since age of 8, I was able to get it up and masturbate to orgasm. I did it on a regular basis. Few times a month.

With puberty, suddenly my orgasms became very intense and I was able to have them quickly. Also I suddenly turned into masturbation addict, having to it once a day and not able to give it up.

So, I was able to get it hard and have on orgasm with a very low T. And even now, when my T has been very low, I still can get it up and have an orgasm few times a month.

Many accounts of the Italian castrati cite that they did indeed have active sex lives. I don't recall ever seeing anything about the psychological state of such boys, however, but one can only imagine that the shock of it might trigger psychological impotence.

Maybe I'm wrong, but as I understand it is not quite a literary question.

Different people have different abilities...

(Because I am not a writer, I can only judge by my observations of myself.

But, I'm still not sure that these observations of mine can be of interest on this literary page.)

Even when writing erotic fiction, historical accuracy should at least be considered.

Gosh, if we wanted accuracy in fiction, we'd have to delete all of those, "And he came when his balls were cut off..." stories.

It would probably be more accurate to say, "he fainted".

The one I don't get is all the claims that non-fixed, presumably normally developed boys don't start masturbating until around the time they start hitting puberty...

I don't claim huge amounts of experience, but I've seen more than a few instance of parental mortification / amusement when their male toddler starts doing the streak while keeping things 'firmly in hand'....

By the same token, I know that I certainly 'played with it' when I was pre-pubescent, I may not of known why it was there, or what it was good for other than peeing, but that didn't mean I didn't know what felt good, and enjoyed doing when I could get away with it...

I have trouble believing that this is not typical for male children.... Just because Junior isn't staining the sheets doesn't mean he isn't playing with his ding-a-ling thing... (to credit Chuck Berry)

Having raised and helped through 6 of them, I can assure you that prepubertal boys do indeed get erections, even when their testicles haven't fully dropped, and puberty is years in the future. They also "work with it".
