I have not been able to work since Tuesday this week, and got very little done here on EA. We (a friend and I) moved my office from its location for the past 28 years to a bigger and better room. We got all the furniture settled, and tried to hook up the internet (which I use for work). Turns out a phone line repair 10 years ago disconnected all the lines in the house except the one I had been using for ages. I only use cell for voice service. I tried tracing and reconnecting phone lines I had personally installed 25 years ago, to no avail. So I called the phone company and tried to get them for 90 minutes to agree to send a lineman to repair things. He did not show up as expected. Tomorrow I am getting cable and new internet service. I will finally be able to connect with my patients in real time, and be able to do administrative things here on the Archive, rather than by hijacking my ex'es internet. So, I am back, for better or worse.

Crap! I forgot to lock the door when I had a chance.
Seriously, glad you’re up and running, with decent connectivity.
