Both testicles are stilly slightly swollen, firmer than normal, and both are still tender if lightly squeezed. I'm going to give them two weeks to recover and then then I'm going to do something different for the second set of injections. After doing some research it looks like calcium chloride and grain alcohol is more effective. I'm going to inject 1cc into each testicle with a 30% calcium chloride/189 proof grain alcohol solution. From there I'll wait two months and possibly do a smaller follow injection with the same solution. After that I'll make an appointment with my urologist 1-2 months afterward. There's more risk this way but at least I know that the surgery will be covered.

If that question is for me, thank you for asking. No problems to note, both nuts are still swollen. Not a lot, just a little. They are the size that they were before they atrophied. Hopefully in another week they will be go back to their original size so I can do a second set of injections. It's a bit of a slow process especially when you've got a huge swollen sack between your legs.

Thanks for the description.

What’s the minimum ABV that’s effective? I’m not sure we can buy spirit at 189/190 proof here in the UK? I’m guessing there’s not a huge risk of infection at those alcohol levels but what are the risks from this method?

I would say as long as you keep it down to what a half-shot of whisky or the like would be in volume, the biggest risk would be getting drunk, depending on how fast a body metabolizes the alcohol.

Well the supplies are in. I have everything that I need to do my calcium chloride grain alcohol injections next week. I'm mixing 15 grams of calcium chloride powder with 50 ml of 189 proof grain alcohol which will give me a 30% solution. I'm going to put the mixture into a tiny beaker and gently heat it on a lab grade hotplate while gently stirring it until the CaCl dissolves. Then I'm going to let it cool to room temperature and then inject 1cc of it into each testicle. In two months I'll evaluate the need to do a second round of injections before I see my urologist.

I would really like to inject them now and get it over with but my right testicle is still swollen and hard from last weeks 3cc 189 proof grain alcohol injection. The left one is back to normal or perhaps a little smaller. The left nut has definitely succumbed to some damage. It is firmer than it used to be, and it no longer descends to the bottom of my scrotum anymore. It stays high up at the very top giving me the appearance of having one testicle.

I'm not going by time, I'm going by swelling. So as soon as the right one starts to look normal the needle is going in. Hopefully I won't have to wait a full week for that to happen.

I just injected 1cc of 30% everclear and calcium chloride into each testicle. It was hard to do because my testicles became really hard to pierce since last weeks 3cc everclear injection. The needle was bending before I could push through. But the needles went in and so did the solution. Then it was hard to inject not because of the testicle but because of the solution being so thick. The hardness of the testicles helped to keep the solution in without leaking. I'm glad that I didn't do a straight alcohol injection this time. I need something that breaks then down instead of just making them hard and small with scar tissue. In two months I'll decide if they need another round of injections. If no

and if they need another round I'll inject them and wait a month before I book the appointment. I want my doctor to be enthusiastic about cutting them out so I'm going to make sure that there isn't much left of them before I see him.

So far the CaCL/everclear solution has been totally painless and it's been over an hour. They are little sore when I handle them but that's all. I can mow the lawn like this. So far no regrets except for feeling like I should of done this years ago feeling.

Great to hear you are doing well! I was always curious about injections, but never had the balls to do it. XD

I'm almost certain that after I'm done with this, that I won't have the balls for it either, lol.

Last night's injection was an unusual experience. The only initial pain that I experienced was from my wrestling with the syringe when I was injecting my right testicle. That pain went away in a few minutes and then there was nothing. Even 3 hours later I was still pain free accept for some tenderness in my testicles. They hardened up quickly and there was no pain so I went to bed. I woke up 6 hours later which was now 9 hours past the injection time with miserable gut ache. It was bad enough to keep me in bed or on the couch. Strong pain medication helps such as a Percocet but it certainly doesn't take it away. Over the counter pain medication would be useless for this. The overall best option is, soft loose clothing such as sweatpants, and a good ice pack. And most importantly make no plans and get plenty of rest.

It's been over 12 hours and I'm really surprised so far. There has been no swelling, just shrinkage. My balls are smaller and harder than they were before I injected them last night. The pain fluctuates and seems to be gradually improving. Hopefully by tomorrow it's not as bad.

I really want to get them cut out now because they aren't testicles anymore, they are just damaged tissue. I'll post again when something changes.
