Talk of Area 51 raid is growing

Roughly 1.3 million people on Facebook have enlisted on a mission to uncover the mystery of Area 51: Does the complex have aliens?

A tongue-in-cheek Facebook event dubbed “Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us” rested at 1.3 million mark as of Tuesday morning with another million interested, well over double the nearly half-million people who had signed up just a few days earlier to storm the base in the early morning hours of Sept. 20.

According to the event details on Facebook, the plan is to meet at the Area 51 Alien Center in Amargosa Valley and coordinate an entry.

The event organization was going well 3 years ago, until they all realized it's out in the middle of desert nowhere, the temperature in summer and early fall equates nearly to the surface of the sun, and they can't drink sand, nor cool off in the shade of small boulders.

Of course the important question is whether they are going to have any folks from immigration (I.N.S.) to check on whether or not the aliens are properly documented and that they entered the country legally....
