some trouble when posting using my phone

i’ve been having problems when posting via my phone (android). when ready i post and then the post disappears. maybe it is not supposed to show up right away but there were at least 3 times it did not show up at all. I probably did not help any by trying to post it again right away (i usually copy the text before posting) but at the times i thought it was a phone issue or because i may have touched something on the screen that prompted a different action. Am I doing something wrong? Are there any tips on posting that might help this situation? Is it possible that a post just vanishes?

Are you posting to a moderated forum (like this one)? Posts in those forums do not appear until they have been moderated/approved by a moderator. You had a duplicate post in moderation; I deleted the second copy because I had approved the first one. That was this morning.

I guess that was the case. probably the other time/s too. but what would I look for to know? I didn't realize there was a difference. I'll be more careful in the future.

It actually says so after posting - something along the lines of 'this is moderated forum, etc...'.

But on phone the text is small - so you could have missed it. Posted before from phone (Firefox on Android), and things worked.
