Does anyone know what happened to part 1 of martine's story?

It's probably in the "recovery bin" that Bella has so diligently been sorting out. These were stories that were abandoned when the "Great Hack" took down the story archive, and many of the stories were so badly damaged that they were deemed not salvageable due to huge chunks of "data salad" throughout. Bella has been recovering some of these.

As soon as he gets back, I'm sure he'll look into it.

If so the "author" is different, which might make it not show up together with part 2 in indexes. If it is not available already, Bella will probably get it sorted eventually.
