I counted at least nine eunuchs in the raw data, which is a decent increase over previous years. The survey had just under 40k total usable responses.

Hmm... I do not want to be negative, but the way results are published is classic example of how you DO NOT present your data.

(tables as images, graphs with multiple lines of similar color, and other stuff).

On another hand - I definitely remember that something in that census set me off in the middle and I didn't send the data.

Thanks, but not my work! All credit to Cassian (they/them) who has been running the survey for several years. The census has become a fascinating and useful resource, despite it sharing the limitations of all opt-in surveys. It is quite interesting to see how the use of identity labels and pronouns is changing over time.

Please report things you did not like to Cassian as they revise the survey every year to make it better. Contact details at the bottom of the report.

This data presentation is for a popular not academic audience, but you are right that prettiness has been favoured over legibility and objectivity. On the plus side, Cassian publishes *all* the data which is very good indeed and better than many peer-reviewed academic publications.
