I admit I've thought this over. No surgical options in Texas that I can find.
Clearly you've not been looking very hard.
As noted above, Dr. Crane and his practice are doing them, and they are in Austin. That you can't find the one that is literally on your doorstep makes us wonder...
Calcium chloride injections would be a far better option. Regular use on testicles will also damage them permanently if done regularly. I assume it damages the vascular and nerve functions the more you do it.
As someone who was successfully castrated by Burdizzo I can tell you it will work on humans.
Three important keys to making it work
1.) Someone else has to close the clamp (quick and firm)
2.) Make sure the entire spermatic cord (blood supply) is inside the clamp before closing
3.) Each cord must be clamped for a minimum of 45 minutes
After using the burdizzo my testicles became very hard for a couple of days then became very mushy and soft. Then over time they got smaller and smaller.
fing ouch. sorry. i cringe every time even though i was ready to do similar once upon a time. theres still much work to be done on me and personally, for myself, im so tired of pain and danger. it remains an ongoing fear that without proper SOC (soc 8) i could find the autopilot machine inside me kicking in and doing stuff again.
i think it is very important that there is extremely strict care being taken in such a venture. i was always in a situation of doing whatever i did, alone. i always ended up in ER. and OR so anyone trying this needs to be very careful themselves and as well the helper has to be as proficient as a great surgeon. in my opinion, if that is the case, best find a great surgeon.
nonetheless, i admire and respect one who was able to and did undergo the burdizzo experience (or elastrator). hat off to you.
Just to let you know, you're bumping up a 2 year old thread with (probably) the person you're asking being no longer an active member. I wouldn't expect an answer, unless someone else chimes in.
