I'm giving Androcur a try a short story

Post by snippedandcalm (imported) »

I've been wanting to get rid of my testicles and scrotum since my mid 20's and now at 48 I'm going to pursue that goal. I'm going to start with Androcur and stay on it for at least 4-6 months as a test drive. I tried it two years ago and after two weeks at 100 mg per day I realized that I had a physical scheduled a month out and they were testing for T so stopped and didn't go back to it. I postponed the physical for an extra month thinking that everything should be back to normal by then but I was wrong. I didn't want the doctor to discover any T problems because I wasn't sure what I really wanted at that time.

About 1-2 weeks after stopping my sex drive plummeted. All my normal erections stopped. I could still get hard but it was weak and I didn't always manage to get off. I remember going an entire month without masturbating. I was focused on more important things and I didn't miss it. 6 weeks after I stopped I noticed that I starting getting occasional nocturnal erections again but getting off was still a chore and my sex drive was still way down. The bloodwork from my physical came back and my T level was 180. My doctor offered me T injections and I declined and told him that I would rather take care of the other matter first and then we can revisit the T problem later. I told him that I felt fine and that I didn't notice much of a difference. From that appointment I went off to a specialist about something else and I've never discussed it with him again. From what I told him he can only assume that I've had low T for a long time and it hasn't been a problem for me. So when I go back to him chemically castrated it will appear like a slow decline from an existing problem instead of a sudden surprise. Not only was my T level really low 6 weeks later, but get this, my sex drive and performance didn't return to normal until about 7 months later.

Judging from that, Androcur has a pretty powerful effect on me so I'm going to keep my doses low. I might start with 100mg and then go a month or less and then drop that down to 50mg. And then work on getting it down to 25mg using monthly saliva testing. So by month 3 I'll be on 25mg and if my T level is 50 or below and it doesn't go up, then I'll stay at 25 mg a day. This way I might not have any side effects at all at some point. The Last time had these short little head rushes a few times a day and I was a little less energetic at 100 mg. But two days after stopping it went away and my energy went back up. None of these things were a problem when I was on it before so this should go pretty well. I should have the medication by the end of next week. I'm pretty excited about experiencing the changes but right now it is hurry up and wait until my order arrives.

Sounds like a good plan. My suggestion would be to take 100 Mg Androcur a day for 2 weeks and drop the dosage to 50 Mg daily and see how it works before reducing dosage to 25 Mg daily for a month or two to see how you are handling it. Good luck and I hope it works for you to achieve your goal.

I only was on Androcur for a month and like you had to stop to hide the effects at my annual physical. I did like the changes it induced and hope to start again soon.

Thanks,

I'm just going to start at 100mg and stay on it for 2-4 weeks before I reduce the dose to 50mg. The rest of the decisions will be based on the T tests. Next I need to find a reliable source for the medication and obtain enough in case there's a shortage. I'm also thinking about either adding 10 mg of Tamoxifen or going the opposite direction and adding a tiny dose of estrogen, but that won't be until later.

As long as I can get enough medication and have it on hand at the right time, this it the regime that I'm starting out with.

30 days of 100mg of Androcur per day

Day 31 The dose will be reduced to 50mg per day.

As soon as my body adjusts to the new dosage I'm going to add 10mg of Tamoxifen if I can get it in time.

My small medication test order should hopefully be here next week and I'm going to start as soon as it arrives. I'm going to get a T test either at day 30 or right after. And then another at 60 days to see if the dosage reduction was a success. And then another one at 90 days, and it will be as needed from there.

I might add the Tamoxifen at the end of month 2 as an alternative option so I can see how the Androcur alone is doing at the lower dose.

I just got the tracking info on my first Androcur order. It's scheduled for Wednesday of next week which is when I'll begin the process. I feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders. :D

My Androcur order arrived a day early and I just took the first dose of 100 mg. I feel a combination of excitement and relief that I got the first step in the process over with. Now I need to place another order so that I have a 6 month supply on hand in case something happens. I don't want to spoil my mood contemplating another lockdown staring Dr. Fauci, so I won't elaborate. So from here it's 100 mg per day for 30 days, and then 50 mg from there. I'm going to order some Tamoxifen a little later but I'm not set on taking it until I see how things go with just Androcur alone. And since my pills arrived early I'll have to change my avatar because it says May 25th, lol. I think I'll dress it up a little in photoshop.

I'm going to create a blog with some pictures to document the changes. Take care for now.

About two hours after taking the first dose I felt light headed. It very mild I had a few head rushes when doing some sanding along the baseboard of a room that I'm painting. It lasted for about 7 hours and then it just went away and now I feel fine. But my penis is a different story. 5 hours after I took the first dose my penis started leaking precum. It's been a steady flow for the last few hours. I took a break form sanding for about an hour surfed the net and when I got up from my chair I had a wet spot on the inside of my shorts. It was a big area and wet enough to seep through to the outside along the stich line between my legs. I've tried androcur twice before. The first time was over 20 years ago and the last time was two years ago. And both times I started leaking pre cum. I just never stayed on it long enough to see it dry up. I usually don't wear underwear but I'm going to have to buy some. The dripping might last for a couple of weeks so I need try some maxi pads. Tissues work but you have I have to keep changing and repositioning them. It's all par the course and definitely fun because I finally get to start transitioning to a eunuch.

All sort of medications will have all sorts of side effects in the moment. You body is dealing with new chemicals in it's system, and it often takes time to adjust, which I'm sure you saw in your previous experiences.

Things will happen, just be patient.
