I can tell you first hand that there is close to zero understanding among urologist with respect to castration here in the US. I was told directly by one female urologist "because the cysts on your testicles are not cancerous I will not recommend removal, they secrete vital hormones" That was the so called "specialist" I was sent to at KU. I have finally found a surgeon that has scheduled me for an Orchiectomy - If you're a male that wants to be castrated here in the west - brace yourself for a lot of wasted time and $$$ before you find an agreeable medical professional who will agree to help you.

Keep in mind when I did find a surgeon while searching for "inguinal orchiectomy" I still had to endure two nerve blocks to confirm my pain was truly from my testicles and travel 100 miles to see yet another urologist "just to be safe" $127 Dollars later - Thank you drive thru.... Nuts are optional folks (Even Jesus said so) See Mathew 19:12.

I do not know allot of medical folks that claim to be anything close to a Christian however when it comes to a simple castration there seems to be a cult within the medical establishment where the testicles are sacred and must be saved if at all possible.

Perhaps another survey could be done within the medical community? When did you first realize testicles were sacred? Spare me with the "do no harm" speech. If you still have your wisdom teeth -Then you already know - they're always asking you about removing something that isn't causing any problems - but hey - It's an easy $2,000 right?

Des Weiteren, traurig hat es mich gemacht, wie wenig zwischen den zwei großen Fraktionen, den „Transsexuellen“ und artverwandten sowie, der reinen Phantasiefraktion differenziert wird. Beide Gruppen kommen zu kurz, während ich meine, daß auf die erstere Gruppe höheren Wert gelegt werden sollte. Zumal ich hohen Respekt vor ihnen habe, ihnen wünsche, schneller und bessere Hilfe zu erhalten.

Sicherlich haben beide Gruppen oftmals Gemeinsamkeiten in der Entstehung des Themas, die es zu erforschen sowie zu „heilen“ gilt. Nur fürchte ich, daß diese Umfrage zu diesem hochkomplexen Thema nicht ausreichend ist, diverse Lösungen zu erzeugen.

I'm not sure what Reduxx is, or if it was this survey or a previous one but someone infiltrated EA, recently enough to take the WPATH conversation and write an article going around citing us as monsters and "child" (I can't say the "P" word I don't want it coming up in searches) and I'm just so pissed off when I see it. It's been regurgitated ad nauseam on YouTube and websites as proof that we're crazy and trying to make the world worse instead of wanting bodily autonomy.

Furthermore, it made me sad how little differentiation was made between the two large groups, the 'transsexuals' and related groups, as well as the pure fantasy group. Both groups come up short, while I think that more emphasis should be placed on the former group. Especially since I have great respect for them and wish them to receive faster and better help.

Certainly, both groups often have things in common in the emergence of the topic, which need to be explored and 'healed'. But I'm afraid that this survey on this highly complex topic is not sufficient to generate various solutions.

I did the survey back when I was just exploring the idea and learning so at that point fell at most in the 'wannabee' category... I'm now chemically castrated, (and hope to get the doctors to agree to making it surgical...) which puts me on the other side of the ledger... Is there any way to update my status / results to reflect this?
