I am having many problems posting replies, in part because I seem to be getting logged out of the site quite frequently.
I find that my typical pattern is to have a lot of tabs open as I see threads that look interesting and open them so that I can read them at a later point... I find that it is kind of random whether the new tab shows me logged in or not. When I try to make a reply or start a thread, I often get error messages about not being logged in (even though I checked the top bar and it said I was) and that I need to log in, reload the page, and try again.... Some times I will go through this several times and at least a few times have ended up losing what I'd written (restore autosaved content usually works, but not always, and sometimes only restores part of it)
This is really frustrating, I feel like I've had to do a bunch of jumping through hoops to make almost every single post.
Is this because I'm using TOR? Is there anything I can do to help troubleshoot the issue?
Thanks

It could be because of TOR. It's more likely that you're timing out, if you have not checked the "remember me" box when you logged in.

Another thing is not keeping so many open pages. When I do that I tend to lose track of things, and when I go back, they're gone. That could be my browser (I am still using IE11, as well as Edge), I am slowly converting, and learning my way through new stuff. I try not to get complicated unless I am writing a paper. Me Da always said keep it simple for stupid (unfortunately, me).

Well, seemed a little better this evening. I tried Paolo's suggestion of checking the 'remember me' button, and that seems to have helped.
Thanks
