Cimetidine for Shrinking Penis and Lowering Libido

My experiences with Low T were debilitating. Absolutely Horrible. But none came from my use with Cimetidine. It’s been many years since it happened, but it was when I was heavy-dosing Pueraria Mirifica and Red Reishi Mushroom. My T flat-lined bottomed out several times and it was something I hope doesn’t happen again.

My experience with Cimetidine has been positive. While I wish my testicles were much smaller, they’re 1/2 their original size. My penis is the size of my thumb. Erections are still possible, as are mind blowing full body orgasms. I haven’t ejaculated in years. For at least twenty years I religiously shaved my full body. Thankfully I havent had to do so in several years. As long as myboobs keep getting more bigger, I’ll be happy.

One thing is, over the last year or so due to my unfortunate sedentary lifestyle, (I’m not as active as I used to be, but this week I put in the vegetable garden and next week we’ll be spending a few weeks on Jekyll Island), but .... I’ve developed crippling indigestion around late night means. Ugh. So, Cimetidine is a two-fold welcomed relief.

It’s been a few years since I did a deep dive into the medical studies, but it ‘seems like’ Free Testosterone actually increased with Cimetidine. It’s DHT that’s completely shut down. I’ll have to look again, soon.

Please share links if you do. I'm staying on it because ulcer symptoms return if I stop or even dial it back. The see-saw of erectile function (completely dead penis one day, urgently spontaneous erections the next day, slightly spongy but orgasmic the third day) has me scratching my head. What is going on down there?

I listed many articles here before. If it wasn’t this shrinking penis thread, then it was another one. Do a google search for Cimetidine/Testicles, Cimetidine/Erectile Dysfunction, Cimetidine/Sperm, Cimetidine/Leydig Cells, etc, etc, etc. There are numerous studies available.

What’s most likely happening with your erections is the testosterone see-saw battle for dominance. Even I can still get an erection with a lot of effort, but gone are the days of spontaneous arousal. I haven’t ejaculated in years, though.

I didn't "thread the needle" on my point as well as I thought. I am VERY well aware of side effects of low T; for the better part of 2015, I felt like I just woke up all day every day.

What I have NOT seen is how/whether people using Cimetidine to induce impotence for the purpose of shrinkage had to deal with those symptoms (which I am 100% not willing to do right now), or whether they were ALREADY ON THE OTHER SIDE of the symptoms, which I am led to believe by the users here to be a place of serenity and peace.

Thanks for the clarification. So far, I have not felt any side effects of low T from taking Cimetidine.

Update: TRT prescription is sorted. BUT, one of the blood tests I have done regularly since I've been on TRT came back "off." In January the test was fine, in April it wasn't. I go back in a few weeks for a follow up, with a list of things I can and can't do in between.

I'm in my 50s, so tests are going to start coming back out of whack. But I've stopped the Cimetidine, since it's really the only substantive change since January, when the same test was fine.

My interests haven't changed, but this PARTICULAR route is off the table for ME for now.

Just a quick update. Today is day 46 of taking Cimetidine, 1000 mg/day, in my third continuous run of Cimetidine, and for the longest duration. My penis definitely likes to stay in its smallest state, tucking itself inside my body most of the time. It is also noticeably less sensitive to stimulation. After much stimulation, it might get a bit bigger, but not hard. It is more comfortable tucked. I can get myself to edging and orgasm but takes a lot more effort. My hard-on's has not shrunk any more. My testicles do not feel much smaller, as they had shrunk a lot already since my previous runs of Androcur.

Probably because of my TRT for my osteopenia, my libido has returned, wanting sex a couple of times a month. I can achieve weak hard-on's and orgasms with the help of Viagra when I am with my partner.

My plan is to finish off the latest bottle, and take a break to see if the current state has become permanent, which would be really nice.

Update: a liver test came back slightly off while I was taking Cimetidine (usually 800mg, sometimes 1000) for ulcer symptoms. My T was fine from the same round of tests (I'm on TRT). The stuff DID put my erectile function into a sort of roulette/lottery situation. Some days there was no erection to be had regardless of mood or stimulation, some days things were normal, and some days there was an urgency 2-3x per day I haven't felt since I was a teenager.

I stopped taking Cimetidine as soon as I got the call from the doctor's office, and my follow-up test was normal. I'm not an MD, but I suspect the almost-randomness of my functionality (and the wonky liver test) was my body trying to deal with both Androgel and Cimetidine simultaneously.

From tomorrow I am on cimetidine again. The starting position in the erection is 11 cm (4.3 inch), and my lowered position is 5.5 cm (2.2 inch). I’ve been on PM and red reishi for a month now. So, I will take PM and RR in parallel with cimetidine. I hope this will have a positive effect on the result.

I am currently on half a bottle and there are no changes yet as far as dick in erection is concerned. But I shrunk a little more in a relaxed state and I started noticing a problem when piss. It has shrunk a lot for me and I have to stretch it a lot so as not to piss on my pants or shoes. I have not had such problems before. And one interesting thing. I'm a grower. From the lowered state to the erection, the difference used to be about 60%. And now the difference is even 100%. I did not expect such a range. I thought the range would stay the same.
