Another fine piece of art by Charlieje. "Andy" a must. It is as he details in the very beginning of the story about love. Love that starts with two young boys. But more than that it is about love period.
It is a very long novel well worth your time and energy to read. If you have ever experienced a deep close family life you will relate to it. If you never had a close family then you can escape into the Conner family and be sucked right in as if you actually live in that time and place.
You will feel the love and warmth, the pain and pleasures. It was another example of his fine talent that was hard to put down. It was so clearly painted in his words in such a way that you could picture every scene as if you were there.
This is very worthy of becoming a made-for-TV movie. I would love to see it on screen with of course charlieje himself as a consultant. I wouldn't want it to get screwed up.

Ellie,
You are too kind! But comments like yours have inspired me to "sanitize" Andy somewhat and submit it for publication, which is why I have not been very active on the board lately. I just completed that operation tonight and submitted it. Time will tell...

You can be sure I'll let y'all know, but it could be a while, like up to a few months before I even know if it will be published, and possibly a year or more before it actually hits the presses.
To be perfectly honest, it's not a big deal with me (well, that's a lie - it's a VERY big deal with me) but what I'm trying to say is, the people I really care about have already read it.
