Re: castration adds years to life
Hiyer gert,
I can't think of the web-site (this is the most likely or, maybe, transgendercare.com?) but I do remember reading that chemical castration (no, no - I just remembered, I'm pretty sure it was Dr Specktor's site) for stra8 men with cancer of the prostate causes a variety of side-effects which emotionally involve a short period of anger, followed by a longer period of depression and eventually a slip into the condition known as 'eunuch calm' which leaves the patient with a feeling of tranquil contentment and a loss of ambition and aggression.
It also went on to say that this leads to an average longevity of at least five years and up to the average age for females - which in a prostate patient could mean fifteen years.
I read this some while ago so please check out the site.
Although I am taking 200mg of Spirotone daily, the 'eunuch calm' experience doesn't really affect me since I also take 5mg of Premarin daily and can get quiet 'ratty' when pushed
Hope this helps.....
lol Rachel xx
