Im starting Androcur... Recommendations?

So now that i will start using Androcur. Im ugly and whenever i see a beautiful girl, i know that she will never ever like me and it makes me very very sad and feel terrible. I never had sex in my life. And i dont want to live like this:

1) Is this drug totaly kill my sex drive so that i wont care when i see a beautiful girl?

2) Shall i use any other drug to prevent breast enlargement?

I used androcur for a while, but I had a difficult side effect. It made me very short of breath, so I had to stop. I changed to spironolactone which was a much better experience.

It won't stop you seeing beautiful people. You just won't have that desire to mount them maybe.

I doubt very much you are ugly. I have found the people who like me, don't see me the way I see myself.

Thanks for reaching out. We are all beautiful people. We all have parts of us that are beautiful to other people. Most of us do not fit the male model faces or bodies. But neither do all the women. It is important to celebrate our own humanity, both the beautiful and imperfect sides.

If you have feelings of being ugly and insecure to relate to women, I recommend that you first look up a therapist (not psychiatrist who mainly treat with drugs) to talk and work on your self esteem. Spend the money you would have spent on Androcur on a therapist. That investment will give you a much better life all around, not just on dating / sex scene, but in every part of your life.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. There is always someone who finds and appreciate your beautiful sides. You just got to be confident enough to be vulnerable and let others into your life.

Even if you got to total castration level, these self doubts will continue, and you may have solved the libido part, but you may well find other things to be inadequate and be unhappy about.

As a chemical eunuch who achieved my status with Androcur well over 10 years ago, let me answer your questions directly:

1) Androcur can "kill" your sex drive for the most part, but not all. When I see a beautiful person, I still would have the urge to be intimate, but just not urgency to have sex. I still want a life partner.

So, this can be the frustrating part. If and when I come across someone attractive and the person responds, I also know inside that I won't be able to perform.

Meanwhile, now that I am permanently chemically castrated, I have developed a number of unwanted effects from low testosterone - depression, osteopenia (precursor to osteoporosis), constant fatigue. Now, I am put on a low dose testosterone replacement course as well as osteoporosis meds, probably for the rest of my life, kind of negating what I initially wanted to achieve.

While everyone reacts differently, these seem to be quite common. Some people reported more extreme side effects, such as the urge to commit suicide.

In short, Androcur is a serious drug, completely changing not just my sex drive but also my overall health. And the decision to use it should be taken very seriously and is best to be monitored by a supportive doctor.

2) Preventing breast enlargement, I supplemented Androcur with Tamoxifen. Tamoxifen has the added benefit of allowing me to lower my Androcur dosage significantly and achieve the same eunuch calm and much lowered libido. You can see my journey under my old ID: hkeunuch.
