OK,
From what I have read, it seems that pot may affect T, but up or down remains unclear.
In particular, I'm vary wary of any web site that purports to be about your health, but more than 40% of the page is advertising.
After a bit more hunting around, it seems that the medical profession is just as guilty of peddling opinion over fact if research is not strong and plentiful. Fundamentally, nobody really knows, because it's a rather obscure subset of a subset, if you know what I mean.
Thanks for your efforts in hunting down web pages that at least offer something.
Billy.

Re: hormones and herbs
Hi folks,
Since I opened this thread, there have been interesting developments. Anecdotal to be sure, but very real none the less.
On Friday night my supply ran out. This is an ordinary occurrence with anything on the black market. I'm quite accustomed to the prospect of a few sleepless nights, depressed appetite, and diarrhea. Normally a somewhat depressed mood also is part of the process, but it's not that unbearable, and lasts about a week or so for me. Of more recent times, the supply chain has been, to be frank, surprisingly reliable. So it's actually been at least a couple of years since the last "dry patch".
So, do I feel like crap today. Locally, it's currently 10degC, (50degF). Ten minutes ago I had no shirt on, and my glasses were fogged from the vapour of my sweat evaporating. I am in the worst dirty mood I can remember in a long time. I'm keeping a lid on it, but lord help anyone who comes near. I feel like I'll rip their head off and shit down the hole.
Now I'm cold from the dampness of the sweating.
This is not the usual withdrawal that I'm so familiar with. This is properly awful. I can't help but wonder if the Canadian tests that showed that cannabis lifts T levels was more accurate than I first assumed. I'm wondering if I've been artificially holding levels high. The reason I'm thinking this might be the case is the tests showed that the biggest factor was not quantity of cannabis consumed, but how recently it was consumed.
Another observation that may not be very indicative- The morning wood has dry rot today, only at about half mast, and I really couldn't care just now. This might be part of the normal withdrawal thing though.
Oddly enough, I dreamt and remembered it last night. First time in decades. It was about a rather intense blow job. Drat it, I only stumbled on the action amongst some old wrecked cars in a paddock somewhere, while I was looking for parts to salvage. I do remember apologising for interrupting, and encouraging a continuation before I moved on.:-\
In any case, as I said at the start, this is all anecdote and I'm only writing because someone might find it interesting or somehow useful in the future.
Billy.
