Re: Which post castration treatment is the best?
I was castrated 4 months ago and have only used testosterone replacement theopy. injections of Testosterone Cypionate 200 MG/ML injection weekly. At first I stopped for two weeks and my T went to 57. My libido was verbally gone and I didnt masterbate once. Was really happy. My doctor warned me about osteoporosis so I went back to between .3 or .5 ml injections weekly. My libido is Thru the roof and am constantly masterbating. I dont like this feeling. Its like I was never castrated. I hate this hornyness feeling, I want that eunuch calm I had, but also worry about osteoporosis. Its hard to find a doctor that will put u on estrogen with fear of femininzation. Still new to being a eunuch
And love it. I have an appointment to get my scrotum removed in December. Hopefully I can find the right injection level to keep me healthly and yet have the eunuch calm and possible some penis shrinkage.

You might want to include 5gr of Finasteride daily with your testosterone. It will help to lower your libido and cause you to not get physically aroused, while maintaining your health and well-being from the

Don't fly blind. You need to have your blood E2 level monitored to know what dose works for you. It's not a very expensive test, and the blood should be drawn at the lowest point of your estrogen dosing cycle (just before the next dose, in other words).
I'm "post op", having had an orchi over 4 years ago, so I have no measurable testosterone. For medical reasons, I can't have testosterone in my system anymore, so I chose the backfill strategy of replacing it with estradiol.
I read that for protecting bone density in menopausal women it takes about 50 pg/mL E2 blood level. I also read that any level of E2 (estradiol, the active part of the estrogen complex) will eventually be "fully feminizing"; it takes longer at lower doses, apparently.
For me, E2 even at 80 pg/mL or so via patches felt just "ok". We went from one to two patches, boosting my E2 to nearly 200 pg/mL and I felt GREAT! And yes, I did get some significant breast growth, but at my age I don't care anymore. I'm solidly experiencing the "eunuch calm", and really like it.
[Edit to add: side effects be damned, I will take enough estradiol to feel my best. I'm on implanted pellets now, at 400 pg/mL E2 today, and I feel absolutely wonderful, an improved version of myself. Calm, energetic, no hot flashes, good memory, strangely enhanced sense of smell, better memory than I've had in years. I'm no longer fully "male" in my thinking, and certainly not "female", but am really "neither", yielding that state of calm.]

What is is low dose orally taken estrogen that will protect bone health with minimal feminization? I've asked on several threads, posts, replies, and different forums. Is .5mg enough? 1mg? Everyone seems to tip toe around it. Someone has to have experienced this. Please! I am struggling to find an answer.
Everyone's mileage is different. There is no one answer that applies to everyone. I worked with my endocrinologist experimenting with different doses of testosterone gel and keep testing for testosterone levels - just enough testosterone to be at the lowest end of a normal male (presumably enough to slow my osteopenia), but not enough to get too much libido. I would guess one would have to do the same experimentation on estrogen.
WheelyFixed mentioned SERMs. That would be an option that would avoid feminization. Evista is one accepted treatment for osteoporosis in women. But studies seem to suggest that SERMs may increase testosterone levels in men.
