What are the effects of castration?

Post by Gelded (imported) »

I am still in my preoperative investigation.

I am asking myself new questions to which some of you will be able to give their opinion.

I would like to know if after my castration I do not take any treatment, what will happen?

I don't want to feminize in any way.

I am currently on androgel, but since it has only been 7 days, I still have no effects. Moreover I am not yet castrated, the androgel was prescribed to me by my endocrinologist, to see if after castration, it will be effective against osteoporosis, and if it will cause libido and erection.

In the event that the androgel would only be useful to me for the prevention of osteoporosis, have you heard of a cheaper treatment that protects against this risk.

Do you know of any other negative effects of castration besides the risk of loss of libido?

Thank you to you and have a good week

It would be awesome if someone figured out how to just reverse puberty! Not that I want to regress my age, but that I could just go back to that prepubescent state. My body was happy without testosterone then. No lack of muscle, no weight gain, no gynecomastia, osteoporosis or brain fog. I think it would be a very attractive option for many of us to live out our lives. I have friends who have very active sex lives, and they are very welcome to it, I am thrilled for them. Just something I would be grateful to be done with. So Kristoff, if you could figure that transformation out, I would be most great full. And now my mind goes on! This would seem a way more sensible evolution! When we are done reproducing, we should just go back to prepubesence! I guess females are more along this evolution than males, with menopause. Perhaps we will eventually evolve along those lines.

Evolution always counted on us males being killed in battle or accidents to end our breeding days. If men survived those for long enough, just like in nature, competing males fought to breed the fertile females with the younger and stronger males prevailing over the older or weaker males. Research has recently proven that our sperm actually fight, block, and kill other men s sperm inside the female reproductive tract to carry on male competition right up to reaching and drilling into the eggs. Nature just evolved us males to compete hard.
