I was shocked by the thoughts of a man who agreed to become food for a lioness predator ... Not a very happy ending to this story.

It was the setup of that world, kinda the opposite of ours. Animals (lions in that case) are breeding/keeping humans as stock animals, they are playing with them and eating them eventually. So it was designed to end not happily for the human.

If you want a story without the bad ending, then I think you should write one. One where the dude get his cock nursed by a tigress/lioness then bitten off but he is happy to do this sacrifice and lives happily ever after.

I'm sure I will love to read it.

Actually it is a good idea to write. Tamers of a circus playing with lions and teaching them new tricks but after a party and several bottles of booze they try to teach a Bengal tiger how to suck, ending up many of them without cock, but there is one winner at the end who keeps his after some intense blowjob.
