When I was in Junior High a classmate died in a boating accident. His body was never recovered but about a week later they held a service for him in a Catholic Church. We all called it "The Church of Harald and Maude," because, and I'm not making this up, it was the filming location where Harald first met Maude and where Maude stole the priest's car.
I remembers watching part of the filming but what made the biggest impression on me was seeing Harald's Jaguar Hearse. At the time I thought it was the coolest car I'd ever seen.
I also know the exact beach where Harald trashed the Jag.
