The UK Site Going Down Conclusions...

DISCLAIMER

Folks have been asking me what I've found through investigation so far. I only provide my own theories at this point (which are inconclusive) as a service to those of you who frequent both this site and the other. I post this only to offer what I've found thus far, and do not advocate what often happened on and through that site for the various folks who had accounts there. My position is I only advocate for safe, sane, and legal methods of obtaining our castration/penectomy/nullification goals. My presence there was to meet folks who were seeking this for themselves and work to point them to legitimate resources. That said, the site was/is significant in the community, especially for younger folks.

Here is what I've found:

The site seems to have gone down sometime late on March 21, or early March 22. Why it went offline is unclear. I was offline during the weekend when it happened. When I attempted to log in that Sunday evening (US time) I discovered it was unavailable. When I searched for it in the US, I got a 404 error. When I searched for it through a VPN on UK and Singapore based portals, I got the initial Cloudfare splash page that was checking for DDOS attempts before proceeding the the login screen of the site. When it finally passed through the Cloudfare screen, it arrived at either the same 404 error screen I would see from US based portals, or the "new site" "Broken site" splash page, which I never clicked the link. This tells me whatever happened, Cloudfare was no longer able to point to the server the site was housed on, as it was giving a generic 404 or landing page.

As for what caused the site to go down, there are two schools of thought on what occurred - Short versions: 1. The owner is alive. 2. The owner is dead. For both possibilities, I believe there may have been police intervention in what occurred (Note: this is my biggest speculative leap). However it's obvious these 2 options are unable to occur simultaneously - the owner is not Schrödinger's website operator, as no person can be both alive and dead. This is why I say what I've found is inconclusive.

Theory 1: The owner is alive

This is based only on information I've received from one source who claims to have been speaking with the owner of the other site on dates occurring after the site went missing. They claim the owner is o.k. and is working to bring the site back online. However, if this is the case, the owner would do well to make an appearance and let people know that he is still around, if for no other reason than to stop the rumor mill. The only reason I can think of he wouldn't be doing so, if he is in fact well, is he's been barred from using any online/Internet browsers or to engage in online activity due to some government/court order. This is why on this theory I also believe the police may be involved.

Theory 2: The owner is dead or locked up

There was a link here on the Eunuch Archive to an article in the local media in London where the other site is located. I do know the owner's real name, and I do know his address (I found the address found through UK public records, and was able to verify through another source). The article linked on EA is about something that occurred in the same neighborhood, but is NOT on the street where the site owner has residence. It's many blocks away. However, the age and gender of the deceased person mentioned in the article is correct (44 years, male). These are only pieces of circumstantial evidence which I've not been able to link together, and I've been searching where I can for a death notice but have not found one.

Should this second theory be true, here is my best, plausible, guess at what MAY have occurred and requires believing the media article linked on The Eunuch Archive is connected to this event:

The police show up on Thursday night/early Friday morning, confiscate the computer the site is housed on. This would cause the Cloudfare behavior mentioned above. The police arrive after receiving a phone call which the caller said someone had been assaulted. This is the only reason they need to come in and take the computers, taking the site down in the process when the machines are disconnected. Now, due to some activities the owner engaged in, he may have been in significant distress, potentially due to the lack of control over the servers after confiscation. The material on that server (and publicly available until then) is likely enough evidence for the owner to be prosecuted, leading to distress.

What we do know is by appearance, the owner may not have been in the best of shape health wise. He's in his mid-40's, and if distressed enough, it could have created a crisis needing medical intervention (IE a heart attack), sending him to the hospital.

The same media outlet had a follow-up article the next day stating the individual who had a crisis had died in hospital.

I have NO PROOF the person in the article is the owner of the website.

At this point I'm not sure which theory is correct, but from a human compassion view, I'm hoping it's not the second one. I disagree with the physical activities he was engaged in with others (surgical interventions), but take those away and the owner of the site is actually a pretty decent man. I do hope he's o.k., but at this point, I'm thinking there is about a 90% chance the site will be down permanently.

I'm posting this, then I'm promptly closing the thread. This is here just for those of you who were curious, to learn what I was able to cobble together over the past couple of weeks.
