Performance issues after castration
I have surgical castration coming up in may most likely and am wondering about performance issues later after the testosterone is gone. My dr actually suggested this forum to get insight on life after. Losing balls doesnt bother me as it is something that is kind of a family trait since we all end up with testicular cancer at some point in our family history. I guess the fear of losing my sex drive is what I fear the most. Its not something I will be in a depression about though. There are always ways to make my wife happy other than penis. I guess the question is has anyone who lost their boys and has been on trt had performance issues. Just trying to get my head straight way before it happens.

If you are on testosterone replacement, I think you would not notice a difference in performance. I was surgically castrated 8 years ago and have been on testosterone cypionate injections ever since, never lost libido or ability. I still get super horny, hard and still cum and shoot seedless jizz from the prostate. My ejac is not as much as before and maybe not as thick and creamy.

My experience is that you will require TRT and I think it's best to start as soon as possible post castration. I had my testicles removed at 23 and didn't initially use testosterone replacement. I stopped getting spontaneous erections soon afterwards and become impotent within a few months. During my 7 years as a eunuch I have only used T cypionate sparingly, the result of that is that I have a feminized body, very smooth skin and a very small shrunken penis.

Re: Performance issues after castration
I've been castrated for over two decades and have been receiving T supplements the whole time. Aside from ageing over that time, there's been no change in sexual performance. I used to have sex daily (often more frequently), but it's sort of every second day now. That's the impact of ageing. I still get hard several times a day - just can't reach orgasm all the time.

Definitely a load (so to say) off my mind. Losing them actually sounds appealing but was worried about losing erections altogether, or difficulties maintaining erection. At least I know now that there is life after.

You might wanna get your testo level checked now just so you know what your baseline is, for TRT purposes. Maybe even bank some sperms if you might wanna have children later

Definitely get a baseline T level. Some docs are stingy with T and tell you 450 is fine but you were at 900 before. Some guys do fine under 400 and some need much more to feel normal.

A TRT that many people do not know about is Natesto. It's a nasal gel that I use 2 (sometimes 3) times a day. If I clean my nose well before I put it in, and I have blood drawn an hour later. My TRT level is about 610. Nice alternative to shots. Less messy than gel in your armpits. You end up with spikes throughout the day. That is more how a body works naturally with testicles. Shots put you at a high level for several days and then it drops. It just depends on if you want to give yourself shots and if your doctor will allow you to do it. Many TRT clinics will not agree to this.
