I'm so glad to hear that it went the way it did... hoping that the insurance part is another pleasant surprise :-)

I hope so too, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Insurance is a pain in the ass. It's good for doctor's visits (medical, shrinks, etc.) and meds, but not much else. We'll see, but in this case, I'm being realistic on this one. :)

I called those therapists today. One is out until the 22nd. The others I left messages with their secretaries (checking to see if they take my insurance, availability, etc.) It was pushing 1p, so I didn't hear anything back after 4:30p/5p (not uncommon), so I'll probably hear something later today (3/18) for the rest. :)

If you think insurance is a pain in the ass, just wait until your get your asshat removed. ;) Totally worth it though.

Good to hear you were successful with your first appointment.

Well, in my case the german insurance was the REAL pain in the ass. The surgery itself didn't cause too severe pain and I needed only litte amounts of heavy pain killers for just 36 hours.

And yes, it's totally worth it. :)

Hey, you had yours done at the height of the pandemic and lockdowns. Forgive the pun, but that took a major case of balls there. Plus, it was a day before my birthday. :)

Height of the pandemic? Are you kidding? The numbers are currently much worse than a year ago, at least in Germany. Nevertheless, I wasn't too happy about being in hospital during a pandemic, but the surgery itself was a bigger concern. And yes, you somehow need balls to get them removed ... ;)

At least you all got some sense to actually go through with vaccinations (some people are getting just one shot here of two, if they even get ONE at all), listening to lockdown orders, not arguing with scientists because the internet said...., and doing everything you all are supposed to do. Europe is rockin' it. Yeah, you all are takin' some lumps, no doubt, but you all are listening. We can't seem to get that "listen" part down. Anyway.... :)

Hope you and yours stay well during, what I can only assume is another spike, and you are finally able to get vaccinated (if you haven't already). :) Be safe and stay well, my friend. :)

Thanks for saying, it's making a difference.

I'm shitting bricks, but I'm determined to take some sort of first steps. So, an appointment with my G.P. has to be in order.

Thanks, you're helping to shore up the courage here.

Billy.
