Hi fellas,
It been awhile since I last wrote but now I have a new question to ask you for your advice.
Ive had penile shrinkage since I was castrated and now I often have a problem completely emptying my bladder standing up, especially when wearing tight pants. I often eschew wearing underwear because when I think Im done I often now still dribble some urine in my pants. Flaccid, I would say that Im now about two inches long.
My question is to those who subsequently had a scrotectomy. Did that surgery increase the length of your penis to help facilitate urination? Sometime now only an inch or so protrudes beyond my pants when urinating.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Scrotectomy
If your reason for pursuing scrotal removal is to make urination a better and more comfortable experience, I'd not pursue it. It likely wouldn't do that job. I would consult a urologist about stricture though.

Actually, Im trying to find out if a scrotectomy would increase its length by removing the scrotum so that its not partially buried in the scrotal skin to have better control of the flow when standing to pee. Ive tried to determine if this is a valid reason to get one but Ive only found one medical reference that this is an option to correct a micropenis on the internet: I assume because of the assumption that the man needs his scrotum for his balls. Mine is empty however.

Re: Scrotectomy
In my experience having my scrotum removed did not have any influence what-so-ever on the length of my penis when it comes to peeing. I'd venture to say our "dribble" is more related to advancing age than penis length. However, having all that excess useless skin removed has proven to be well worth the effort in that it's so much more comfortable.

Re: Scrotectomy
I gave you and started sitting to pee long ago. My scrotum has shrunk until you hardly notice it. My penis is very small and I don’t have much pressure to my flow so sitting keeps me from making a mess.

I was having an issue and used a silicone sound to stretch the stricture and it cured it. Use plenty of lube and go very slow. A 7mm should do the trick.

I'm glad it worked for your stricture, but my stricture was a case of it nearly healing my urethra closed and no amount of using a sound would stretch it. It was a literal race if I'd get to my stricture repair surgery before the scar completely closed over my urethra, or if I'd have to have a suprapubic catheter inserted through my abdomen so I could void urine.
In this case I strongly recommend consulting a doctor to determine next steps. The sooner the consult happens, the sooner they'll know if more moderate measures can be undertaken to avoid a new surgery.
Again, i'm happy yours was not as severe as mine, but only a doctor will be able to determine if this is something which can be handled as you did, or need a repair surgery as mine did.

I had a similar problem. It was eliminated surgically... I avoided a fate of application of catheter. In my case use of "sound to stretch the stricture" was insufficient.
