Hello!

I just found out about this forum, and honestly this culture in general and I feel really at home here. I have always had the desire to be castrated but never really was able to process it or come to terms with it due to how poorly eunuchs and castration are handled in our society. I am not yet cut, but hopefully will be within a year. I am 29, and have taken some hormones in different combinations for the last 5 or 6 years. I am glad I took some hormones, but as I now understand what would be right for me is being a eunuch.

Additionally, I am extremely interested in the myths and stories surrounding eunuchs and how unfortunate of a lot they have received in their interpretations. In particular, I am fascinated by Cybele and Attis. If you are at all curious about these topics, please don't hesitate to reach out to me here or on the irc chat (where I am attis), because I would love to have someone to talk to who gets it. The academic treatment of these things makes me feel awful and like a freak and get frustrated because of how they don't seem to understand.

This community seems really awesome, and I'm really happy to feel not alone. Feeling this way has always been confusing, and now I feel totally okay with myself seeing that my impulses were actually quite normal. I'm a little shy, and I am not very good at reaching out, but I am quite talkative if you would like to speak with someone, so feel free to send me a dm.

Welcome home. You will find as many reasons for being on this forum as there are members - the most important thing is that you are now a member. The group is fierce in protecting its own and loving when you need it.

There are four parts to the site and each is its own unique (no pun) place. This forum is for serious information (although there is a joke forum), The Fiction Archive is for stories (remember they are just stories), the Chat where you can chat with people who "come and go so fast around here" (to quote Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz) and the Personal Dating section (which someone will have to fill you in on).

Hello and welcome. I'm sure you will find a lot of information and support here. I invite you to visit my off-site blog and go down to older posts where I discuss the reaction of friends to my castration. It's not what you have been led to believe.
