I had a blood test done earlier this week. I asked my doctor to check my testosterone because I have been feeling fatigued and "achy". When the blood tests came back, my T-Level was 66. That was cause for a concern. My doctor is starting TRT on this coming Tuesday (12-08-2020). From what I understand, my T-level is the same as a Eunuch. My concern is, since the testes are not functional any longer, what are the risks of not having them removed? Another question is how do I approach my doctor on having them removed (is this a valid health concern?)?
Looking for advise. What's my next step?

Thanks for the info. I will talk with my doctor and see what she will have to say.

Re: Low-T Diagnosis
I am wondering if your consultant would want to start prescribing HCG with your test shots in an attempt to get your nuts working again on their own first.
The HCG will also help in stopping ball ache that some folks experience when their nuts shrink whilst on TRT,
The sad thing is some if not most docs don't prescribe HCG as part of any TRT therapy.
`In the UK we have the Hypocritic oath and there is a line in the doctor's code of practice "Do No Harm"
So in the light of this, I do not think you will be able to get a regular practitioner to remove atrophied nuts unless they are causing you pain.

Re: Low-T Diagnosis
I met with my doctor today and she ordered a second blood test. That one came back at 77. She has prescribed TRT and we are waiting on my insurance to approve. I did ask about having the testes removed but she said that a surgeon wouldn't remove them willingly. I will have to see how the TRT works. It may take a visit to a cutter to get the results I am looking for.

Even without insurance, you can normally find generic testosterone gel for about $50/month with a GoodRx coupon. Sometimes you need to hunt around.

I saw a urologist back in January who assessed the state of my testicles damaged by CaCl2 injections. I asked about whether there was any concern about leaving them in and he said that there wasn't. The damaged tissue is eventually absorbed. My T is about 130, but that may be a good level for me as I feel fantastic.
