Scrotum Removal

Post by blondboy (imported) »

I am in Canada and was castrated in January. I am all nicely healed now and want to start looking into getting my scrotum removed in the next couple years. I'd like to be smooth there. Of course, I am looking to have it done safely and by a medical professional. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of where to look for this. Obviously, traveling somewhere to have this done will have to happen only once COVID is over. Any advice or such would be wonderful.

In Canada, if the empty bag bugs you too much, you can go to your GP and complain about it, possible your GP will send you to a urologist to have it removed without any cost. But, be aware that the urologist probably won't do a good job(lack of experience). Myself even for my adult circumcision, I asked the urologist to make it a tight cut, he didn't listen, now my dick has a pretty ugly scar-like foreskin when I am soft.--- Had my circumcision done in Vancouver BC.

I would NOT look for a Urologist to do this procedure, you need a Plastic Surgeon for this kind of delicate work and Urologists are not known for being worried about appearances when they are done. I suspect that you'll have a very difficult time finding a way to get it done in Canada under their health system leaving you to pay for it yourself. Do a search for Crane CTS in the USA if you want to consider going south of the border.

I totally agrée with zeebster. I am booked for scrotectomy in February. The surgeon I chose is a plastic surgeon who, amongst other things, has an interest in gender reassignment so he knows alot about the external appearance of genitalia. I'd completely avoid a urologist.

This is the reason I tell people to avoid Arnkoff for nullification, but he's ok for castration so long as there is no scrotal removal. He's a urologist, not a plastic surgeon.

I'm also looking for the same. I live in Toronto, all the plastic surgeons refer me back to a urologist. My urologist has denied my request.

I had mine done by a plastic surgeon and second the opinions to avoid urologists. It seems like a simple nip and tuck but if you want it done right go to a specialist. You can see the results of mine on my private blog.

I originally got castrated but had not thought through that losing my balls would also mean losing my penis. I got hooked on watching Eunuchs with fully intact hard penises . After castration my penis has gone to between 1 and half .inches on some days to just an inch most of time. This has left a whole bunch of skin I would like to lose. After a cold swim all the loose skin tightens my balls draw up and I have a nice little stub , this I am now pleased with, but a plastic surgeon would make it permenant . In the UK thats not easy unless you are for a sex change. Anybody know of one?

GCS is covered by our health care. Perhaps this is too.

I'm in BC and was castrated 20 years ago. The best advice I can offer is similar to others. Start with obtaining a referral from your GP - just say the empty sac bothers you or that it's uncomfortable. That will likely be to an urologist, but have the urologist do it only if you find that the aesthetics of the result would be acceptable. Otherwise, work on obtaining a referral to a plastic surgeon that works with transgender patients. If done in Canada, the sac removal will almost certainly be covered by your provincial medical plan.

I can add that I'd like mine removed, but that my own experience is that the empty sac keeps losing mass on its own. Mine is very tight now, and a friend who's a surgical nurse and has experiences with genital surgery - castrations and penectomies - has said that I don't really have very much to be removed. My husband understands that the empty sac is one of my most erogenous areas. Of course, the region would continue to be erogenous with or without a scrotal reduction.
