I have great respect for Jesus, who facilitated changes in WPATH. That was truly the best thing to be done.

Please quit saying they've adopted changes, because they've not. The people who can make changes are CONSIDERING them, and that's as far as it has gone. Stop saying they have made changes that are eunuch positive, until they actually have.

That said, we are hopeful changes will be adopted, but I am unwilling to say they have until it becomes reality.

I never said they already adopted it. Jesus said there will be section about us in SOC8, and that section will be chapter 19. Maybe he'll come to this thread and explain what's going on, since he seems to have insider info.

Also, MtE is mentioned in SOC7, though very indirectly and only once. Probably it was too high of me to consider this as partial recognition.

I want to write an article about our problems - as many of us have to do CaCl or ethanol injections, or even more dangerous methods like using elastrator or seeking cutters. In my article I also want to underline that MtE is partially recognized by WPATH, and SOC8 will have section about it.

To clarify, the VERY brief mention was not an adoption or partial recognition of anything. It simply said the idea needed further study. That's it. That was a significant step to opening the door to getting MtE recognized, but it was not a recognition in any way. A section in SOC8 is aspirational at this point and a chapter has been written. Unfortunately, it's not a chapter until it's adopted.

We need to be careful about saying things are recognized or adopted, because until they are, they're not. That's my objection here. Please be careful in those descriptions. There are people far more educated than you or I on this subject who can talk to the media when the time is right, and provide accurate information that you and I are less able to articulate.

I proofread some of the first documents on the subject of MtE that were sent to the 'fine' folks at WPATH. I can support LT on this one. They were hardly defining parameters or a law carved in stone.
