JesusA (imported) wrote: Sun Oct 18, 2020 9:40 am We are working to convince more surgeons to provide orchiectomies and penectomies. As part of this effort, we need to inform them of the diversity of the eunuch archive community that could use their services. An important piece of information is still missing. A measure of that diversity is the various hormones taken both before and after surgery by members of this community.

If you either have had genital surgery or desire to have such surgery in the future, please answer the questions below. If you would prefer not to post publicly on this thread, please send me a <Private Message> with the information. We will be absolutely confidential with any information you provide.

1. If you have already had genital surgery, was it a castration (i.e. an orchiectomy only), a penectomy, or a nullification (i.e., both an orchiectomy and a penectomy)?

2. What hormones or hormone blockers, if any, were you on:

a. before your surgery?

b. after your surgery?

3. If you desire genital surgery (or further genital surgery) do you seek a castration, a penectomy, or a nullification?

4a. What hormones or hormone blockers, if any, are you on now?

4b. What, if any, do you plan to take after surgery?

1. It was a nullification, done in two parts as help for a complete nullo was not available when I did it. Castration in 2005, penectomy and scrotum removal in 2015.

2. Hormones before: None. Hormones after: It's been a variety of things over the past 15 years, but always testosterone. Typically it's a 1.0mL injection of testosterone cypionate (200mg/mL) injected once every two weeks.

3. Any further surgery would be to deal with some dysphoria related to the small remnant of corpus cavernosa tissue left at my request when I had my penectomy. Otherwise, I'm finished and plan nothing further.

4. See answer 2.

No Surgery Yet

2. What hormones or hormone blockers, if any, were you on:

N/A

3. If you desire genital surgery (or further genital surgery) do you seek a castration, a penectomy, or a nullification?

Castration - Definitely. Nullification - Maybe
JesusA (imported) wrote: Sun Oct 18, 2020 9:40 am 4a. What hormones or hormone blockers, if any, are you on now?

None

4b. What, if any, do you plan to take after surgery?

Not sure

My goal for years has been castration. I have avoided the topic of chemical castration because I didn't want any feminization and didn't know how to get started with a doctor's prescription and monitoring. The one thing that is stopping me from wanting the full nullification is the public restroom. The one useful thing about having a penis is being able to stand at a toilet.

I honestly don't know enough about what hormone options are available after castration. I only know that for health reasons, it would be good to replace the missing hormones. Once again, I would need a doctor's guidance on the topic.
