Important: Brief Survey
We are working to convince more surgeons to provide orchiectomies and penectomies. As part of this effort, we need to inform them of the diversity of the eunuch archive community that could use their services. An important piece of information is still missing. A measure of that diversity is the various hormones taken both before and after surgery by members of this community.
If you either have had genital surgery or desire to have such surgery in the future, please answer the questions below. If you would prefer not to post publicly on this thread, please send me a <Private Message> with the information. We will be absolutely confidential with any information you provide.
1. If you have already had genital surgery, was it a castration (i.e. an orchiectomy only), a penectomy, or a nullification (i.e., both an orchiectomy and a penectomy)?
2. What hormones or hormone blockers, if any, were you on:
a. before your surgery?
b. after your surgery?
3. If you desire genital surgery (or further genital surgery) do you seek a castration, a penectomy, or a nullification?
4a. What hormones or hormone blockers, if any, are you on now?
4b. What, if any, do you plan to take after surgery?

a. before your surgery? Testosterone cypionate (.8-1.0 ml / week) and for a time Anastrozole (Arimidex)(aromatase inhibitor)
b. after your surgery? Same as before. Haven't been on Anastrozole tho for several years now.

4b. What, if any, do you plan to take after surgery?
1. Had surgery in June 2000 - bilateral orchiectomy.
2. No hormone blockers. Then or now, none.
3. Seek further surgery: Penectomy and scrotal removal.
4a. Not taking any hormone blockers, save for 2 mg estrogen to make up for no testosterone.
4b. At this point, I expect I would take either testosterone or estrogen.
We'll let the endo suggest and discuss.

Re: Important: Brief Survey
1) NA
2a) NA
2b) NA
3) Castration / scrotectomy probably leading to nullification.
4a) androcur. I usually take it for 2months then stop for a month.
4b) I would see what the changes bring, and seek medical advice on best regimen to stay healthy.
