New gender title in registration

When signing up for the Archive, one of the questions asked is what is your gender identification. I have added "Non-Binary" to the list. Probably quite late to recognize some newly understood and accepted realities. You can use the features in the Index (top of page) to edit your profile if desired.

Although I’m not a huge fan of labels I went ahead and changed gender to non binary. I never really thought of myself as anything but male and yet when you have no balls and breast big enough to need a bra it seems appropriate.

I went away for a couple of hours to consider things. In the past when I was transitioning MtF I would have 100% classified myself as female. Now, having lived as a male for s few years I am not so sure. I want to be female, but realistically I may not fully achieve this. With my altered body and mind I am happy to use the non-binary option.

It took me a couple of hours to see the truth of my situation - sigh!

Thanks very much for this update- It’s nice to see such progress all around- Even the department of motor vehicles in some states allow a non-binary gender option. I was able to take advantage of this when I recently renewed my license without any documentation required.
