Hi all

Not sure if this is the correct place to post if not please remove.

I was looking into DIY circumcision and was told it was not a good idea to do it, so I have now booked a appointment to have it done in a private clinic in 5 weeks time.

What I would like to know is people on here that have had a circumcision what are your thoughts and would you have prefered a different cut to what you have.

I am hoping to tell the doctor what cut I want and I believe I would like something called "Tight and High" I believe this is where they take all the foreskin outer and inner skin and the cut or join is further down the shaft towards the base, I hope this is correct.

I have been keeping the foreskin back with bands and rings etc for a few years and also drying the glans with rubbing alcohol so know I am wanting it.

As I said i would love to hear what others have had done and what is out there.

I was circ'd as an infant during the Great All 'Murican Foreskin Roundup.

So, I guess I "got lucky". My cut is high, very loose, and my frenulum is intact. When flacid, my shaft skin bunches against my glans.

I have to admit that from a visual perspective, a very low cut (near the glans) with the frenulum delta totally gone, looks much better. The claim is that no matter the style, pleasure is not reduced.

I know you can purchase "circumcision devices " on line, but they don't seem precise enough for what I would like, just too generic. The possibility of problems and bleeding make this a definite professionally provided procedure. When I am C castrated, and my penis is at it's most dormant, very rarely above 1", I sometimes try and see what it might look like circumcised. I love the look it has when I pull all the skin to the base and fold it. I know this would be very high and tight, and I have only seen one Dr who performs what he calls on his website " cosmetic " circumcisions with cuts so high. His blurb does talk about making sure erections aren't painful, but if after castration that isn't an issue, that's the look I would want to start off with.

Try to look at Alisklamp or an adult Gomco clamp combined with Dermabond surgical skin glue after the cut.

Yes, I was circed at birth. Yes, I would have a preferred a different cut, namely they should have taken the entire thing off. I had just that done 5 years ago.

As for what mine was. It was sutured about 2/3 of the way up the shaft. My scar was a bit strange, it was lower on the sides, and higher on the top and bottom. It looked a bit like a 4-toothed gear, if that makes sense.

It is sensible of you to ask about the experiences of others with regard to circumcision styles before you submit to the surgeons' knife. I decided to be cut 6 years ago as part of my progression to becoming a eunuch. This was to prepare my penis for its new life once my testicles and scrotum are removed. My objective is to turn my penis into a 'button' protruding from my groin when the other components of my genitals are removed.

I spoke to two surgeons; one Jewish, and the other Muslim, who were experienced in carrying out circumcisions on adults. They both concurred on me undergoing the 'High and Tight' procedure. I chose the Muslin surgeon in the end because of his clinic being closer to my home. In effect the whole of the inner foreskin is rolled back along the penile shaft towards the pubic bone. A section of the original penis shaft skin is removed (tubular resection) and the inner skin stitched (or glued) to the remaining section of the penile shaft skin.

Removing the frenulum is optional but recommended. In my case my 8" penis, when erect, consists of 3" of lighter coloured inner foreskin and then 5" of the darker, original shaft skin. There is very little movement of shaft skin when masturbating. For me the sensations my penis delivers are much improved as the inner skin is very well enervated and the glans is now totally uncovered.

When soft my penis retracts towards my groin and resemble the button I desire. Once were are free to move around as normal I am returning to the surgeon to be re-circumcised. I want an additional 2" of my penile shaft skin removed (sleeve resection) This will result in the skin of my scrotum being pulled up onto my shaft when erect but when soft should result in my penis being pulled flush to my groin.

Sensitivity increased for me after this procedure. Two friends have had 'Low and tight' circumcisions in which all of their sensitive inner foreskin was removed; the shaft skin being sewn directly beneath their glans. Both enjoy the results but tell me they have much reduced sensitivity which was their intention all along.

Hygiene and patience after the procedure is carried out is essential. It is easy to damage the delicate surgery by trying to masturbate before everything is healed. Good luck; I hope it works out well for you. Regards Steve

I am flying out to Turkey from the UK to have my circumcision so will also be a Muslim surgeon and hoping that he will do as I ask and not use one of the instruments that some people use today.

I have been castrated and have had both my testicles and scrotom removed.

I thought that the style I wanted was "High and Tight" but after reading what you have said I think I now need to go "Low and Tight" as I need to decrease the sensitivity that I have as I suffer from "PE" and hope to last longer by exposing the glands etc, I have a PA piercing which is 13mm thick and also have cut my frenulum and would like that area cut and tidyed up a bit at the same time.

I love the thought and look of the "High and Tight" cut but you say it increased sensitivity which for me is a no no but I do want all my skin gone and want it to tight I dont want any skin movement when masturbating and just need to be able to masturbate using the glands only.

As a eunuch whose penis won't be getting erections as often, unless your taking T, the very high and tight would seem the obvious choice. As circumcision was originally used to save the morals and souls of American boys by making masterbation less enjoyable, with the shaft exposed it should become less sensitive. From what I have been told, high and tight will help keep the penis closer to the body, which is what I want when castrated and just an 1" in length.

As a Baby Boomer growing up in the Pacific Northwest, I never even saw a uncircumcised dick until the first day of freshman PE, and I first thought that the two intact kids had some kind of condition or something.

Later, Dad and other WWII vets said that circumcision was usually a part of any Army or Navy surgical procedure.

It appears to me that those working their way to becoming a eunuch have an ambivalent attitude towards their penises. I know I do. I want to have the glans head present but I do not want much of a penile shaft if any. I want to rid myself of my testicles and scrotum and remain with, I guess, a male clitoris that is still sensate and capable of stimulation and, orgasm; what ever form that might take.

My web-based enquiries towards officially recognised surgeons have been somewhat discouraging. I identify as a gay male and I do not have a desire to adopt another gender. I have explained to my latest 'therapist' that I want to become a sexually active eunuch which appears to be a concept she finds hard to understand. In her mind I should be either genitally bereft and non-sexual or be coaxed into accepting myself as I am. She's not on my Christmas card list! (Even though I am paying her privately)

Lynne; tell us more about Turkey; it's a country of possibilities and promise!
