Seems to me if we have a need to stand up on a soap box and yell for everybody to look at us we have some other problems. While I may be a eunuch/nullo I don't shout it out to the so many that really have no reason to know.

I just let folks think what they like without influencing their personal views. Make no mistake, if somebody asks specific questions about my sex I answer honestly as that is my personality. If a guy or gal comes on to me I let them and they can respond to what they find however they like. (I've never been disappointed or harmed physically) I am me and don't find the need to proclaim on the mountain top that I'm this or that.In other words I have no reason for a symbol or flag to force myself or my beliefs on others. I'm not looking for anybody's approval and if somebody doesn't like who I am that's just too bad for them. But I can see how a lot of folks need a symbol or flag to proclaim who they are in our current society of identity politics. I just want to play nice with everybody as a hopeful example so others will follow and play nice as well.

Thank you and very well said. As someone who is just beginning my path to becoming a eunuch, I naturally have been doing tons of reading and research. After all that reading, and during my “Counseling Sessions”, I feel like there needs to be a label placed on me!!! As you stated, I am me!! I dont necessarily fit into these holes and labels that society has created!! I am just me!!!

Society the world over will place a label on us, no matter who we are. I'd say pick the one that you're most comfortable with when you interact with the world, then go live your life as who you are regardless of that label.

The exact opposite that actually kind of tickled me was this happy looking little grandpa type (ie my age) at a restaurant who had on a gold-red-green striped stocking cap that said Vietnam Vet, a pullover gold-red-green stripped sweater that said Vietnam Vet across the chest and down each sleeve and gold-red-green striped sweat pants that said Vietnam Vet down each leg. I'm glad he was proud of something he had done in his life, but it did seem a little over the top.

Us Vietnam Vets have been keep under cover for a lone time.So when The Gulf War we have resolved thet No other Vet would be treated this way! this is why us Vets are on display.

There also did once use to be a Greek letter called the "stigma" (that's right!). It was discontinued since enslaved eunuchs would be typically branded with the symbol. So much so that the symbol took on an entirely new meaning. Later it was abolished It kind of looked kind of like the cedilla: "Ç".

I don't know you, Devi, but your icon pic is giving me one of the strongest deja-vu sensations I've ever had. As much as I know it's virtually impossible that I know you, my brain is screaming that I do. It must be the odd soft-focus of the pic. And the cheeky, impish a smile :p

I love Devi's photo. It so reminds me of a lot of great times in late 60s & early 70s
