You probably had some good reason to be circumcised but accordingly to European physicians, only one boy out of 16000 will ever have to be circumcised. That doesn't explain most of the circumcision performed in USA and abroad. So for most case, circumcision is an obvious génital mutilation. Now if you give parents the right to get their sons castrated for obscure reasons, be sure some will be dumb enough to get it done and physicians will certainly find some lies, like they did for circumcision, to castrate some innocent boys. Every years in USA (not third world country) 300 boys die of sepsis, exsanguination..., for which they omit to mention the real cause, following their circumcision. According the right to parents to consent to their son's castration would certainly contribute to more casualties.
