What dose are we looking for??

Post by kristoff »

I am working with someone who recently was castrated. He is beginning to experience some of the side effects of castration and the lack of testosterone. Some time, not too far back, someone on here was telling about using a small dose of estrogen to deal with the hot flashes, but without feminizing, or at least not very much. I tried locating that post and cannot find it. Can anyone on here remind me of such a dose of estrogen? Or at least point me at the post I have in mind?

I'm on low dose estrogen and my blood level is 96 pg/dl I use 1 pump

it equals 1mg daily of Bio Labs Bio Est 5.0 cream off Amazon. I feel great and haven't had any feminization. Hope that is what you are looking for. My blood level is verified by my GP ordering the test.

After alot of pressure on my part my endro has agreed that I take Estrofem.

I had kept saying (for the last 18months) that I didnot want Susternon250 and was fedup with TRT and wanted to use female hormones. In the end I found Estrofem 2mg, myself, and started to self medicate.

I told him last time I saw him, for my annual check-up that I was a better person without testerone. However I thought that I would be better taking 1mg per day, however I could not find it via the internet.

His reply, if you are feeling better, than that is the most important thing and I would prefer that I write a prescription for what you need, than for you to take something that I do not know where it comes from.

So for the last 4months I have been taking 1mg per day and I feel great. No hot flushes and a very very small amount of breast growth.

I saw that someone else on the forums, said that he was taking 1mg every 4days, and did not have hot flushes.

I will stay with 1mg until my next bone scan, as I was abit on the low side, and then see.

If all is back to normal I might try and see what happens if I lower the dose to 1mg every 2 or 3 days.

As the saying goes. Your mileage varies.

Stay safe. Regards.

I've tried to get my endocrinologist to prescribe estrogen to me and he absolutely won't do it even though I told him that I was getting it off the internet. He saw the blood test results and still won't help me. I have osteopenia and no one was helping me. I can't take testosterone for medical reasons.

I wish Sean Thomas was still here. He was looking into low dose E when he took his leave.

.625mg that is point625mg. Will do the job nicely.

He won't see any more feminization than already occurs with lack of natural testosterone production. That also happens to be the most common dose given to women for menopausal symptoms.
