Castration to get testicle implants
I am a new member. This is my castration experience. The procedure was early February 2020, before the COVID shutdown.
Last year, I went on testosterone replacement. My level was low. I was gaining weight, and sometimes I was depressed. The treatments turned things around. Unfortunately, it made my small testicles shrink. They often pulled up inside, giving me an empty scrotum.
I booked a consultation with a urologist. The doctor is about age 45 with excellent credentials. I asked about possible options for enhancements or implants.
First, the doctor told me about a drug as a possible alternative to TRT. It boosts the ability to make your own. There is a surgery that can stretch the cremaster muscle (for lower hang). He asked if the size was okay before TRT? And if I want to have children? I answered, no.
I dropped my pants for an examination. The doctor suggested that I get implants and agreed that mine are very small. He recommended that my natural ones be removed during the procedure. He told me: You don't need them anymore. TRT makes them stop functioning. After some time, restarting is not possible.
The doctor offered to apply for insurance if a "removal" is done. I got the hint: If I want implants, the doctor wanted to castrate me. I did not know he would suggest this. At first, the advice felt strange, and I was a little stunned. He explained that my natural ones are useless now.
The doctor has a lot of knowledge and experience. I always wished that I had nice balls. I seriously considered his recommendation. Also, I was very comfortable with him. He is a nice-looking guy. Allowing him to modify my scrotum (including castration) gave me erections. After insurance was approved, I paid the deposit and booked for two weeks later. Doing it soon helped avoid panic attacks.
The day arrived. The surgery assistant introduced himself (solid guy about age 50). He looked at my chart and saw my procedure. There was a hint of a smile, and he quickly put me at ease. After we talked, he quietly asked if I am hairy down there. I told him that I trimmed the whole area clean. He gave a smile of approval.
The doctor said he did a "removal" for another guy last week. The assistant was very professional. He knew I was getting nice balls. I relaxed. The procedure was about to start. There was no turning back.
An IV was taped to the back of the hand. I was rolled into the operating room. They helped me slide on the table and hooked up monitoring devices. I took deep breaths from a mask. The sedative was going through the IV. That's all I remember.
I learned that antibiotics are now given through an IV starting an hour before the procedure. They also flush them through before the stitching. No need for antibiotics after. I watched a detailed YouTube of a "Total Orchiectomy" and some implant training for doctors. I could almost visualize my whole procedure.
I remember waking up. Without delay, they allowed my friend to take me home. My doctor called two hours later and said the procedure went great.
I felt the "dull ache" inside. It was not bad if I did not move much. The next day, getting out of bed was difficult. I could touch the changes through my underwear.
After a few days, I felt some recovery. There was still swelling, bruising, and soreness. The doctor had to do a lot of stretching for them to fit. I was able to stop taking pain pills.
There was an uncomfortable feeling the first couple of times I jacked off (ten days later). The muscles that flex my testicles are now little stubs (they were still sore).
Later, I asked what mine were like. He said, "They were small, soft, and not doing anything for you." He explained that soft is a sign they don't function.
I really like having nice size balls. They feel good and look natural. I don't think of them as foreign objects. My body accepted them well. I don't tell people I was castrated. I decided to be brave and get it done. For me, it's much better than the empty scrotum.

I much enjoyed my empty scrotum as a prelude to my empty shorts.
I much prefer my empty shorts.

Re: Castration to get testicle implants
Great post ! This sounds like an ideal voluntary castration. You were really lucky to find a urologist so willing to castrate and give you big proud implants ! It sounds like men on here would really appreciate his name and the city and state location where he works. His attitude is very rare among urologists. You are healing good and enjoying your castration and impressive new balls ! A perfect ourcome.
How do the implants feel ? Do you have any pain now ? How do they feel through the scrotum in your fingers ? Compared to your real balls at the top condition in the past ? It sounds like you chose the biggest size you could ? How big are they ? Has your scrotum stretched out to hold them comfortably now ? How do they feel moving around and in daily activities ? Natural movement and a realistic hang to them now ?

How did your new man stones feel that first time u jerked off? Did they bounce up and down like your natural nutz and give you same feeling of full balls?

Hcg injections would most likely have jump started your testicles again.

Re: Castration to get testicle implants
That was considered. Removal is not his first choice. Once he felt mine, he did not think it would help.
My doctor also does a lot of research and publishes papers. He is not a full-time professor but he does teach at a medical school. And, he is hired to updates textbooks and keep them current.
Hcg can sometimes help testicles that are small and shriveled up. He said that small and soft is often a sign that they are not going to be so easy to restart. Before they were removed, I would feel them in the bathtub. They felt like partially cooked bay scallops. Hcg is good information for guys to know about.

Re: Castration to get testicle implants
I was surprised when the doctor suggested removing mine. Aside from this site, it's a taboo topic. You don't know where doctors stand unless you sit in a private meeting, and you get examined. I would have guessed that he needed images of them or some tests. He felt them and made a decision.
I do think he enjoyed cutting mine off. It's because they were soft and not functioning. He probably gets some satisfaction from helping a guy get a masculine scrotum. He is not the type who would enjoy or suggest removing healthy testicles. He liked that I followed his advice.
For the same reason, the assistant probably enjoyed it when he clamped mine. It was perhaps like: get those little balls out; they are worthless.
Few doctors advertise this procedure. Now, mine does my TRT. He probably would not want me to post his name.
When I am in the bathtub, and the scrotum is soft, you can tell they are implants. Otherwise, my scrotum pads them well. Someone could grab my balls, and they feel normal and a nice size. I am looking forward to showing them off at the gym shower room.
They are by Coloplast saline-filled (no others have FDA approval). Right now, they are a little firm. He can adjust them. They do look good.
I would have preferred the soft solid ones made by implantech.com or aart. They are safe. The company makes all sorts of body implants in a California FDA approved plant. I would have needed to travel to a doctor to Miami to get those (my insurance would not work).
I think the Miami clinic (Dr. John Whitehead - Restore Medical) might be open to doing castration. He does implants. He has a surgery center with anesthesia. He took the clinic over from Dr. Harold Reed (retired), who was famous for doing transgender surgery and castrations. No one is going to answer that question over the phone. Scrotum enhancement are posted on his website.
I also suggest Googling "men's sexual health" and "testicle implants." Many doctors show up. Find doctors that are not part of large urology clinics. That I discovered the clinic I went to.
If the testicles are small, soft, and you say they are painful, many doctors will help.

You should have asked him to put in the implants but leave your original testicles in place. Then you could just walk to First Base at every at-bat.

Re: Castration to get testicle implants
My original intent was to keep them. I am glad I met the doctor who suggested castration. He was right that they were worthless. The biopsy confirmed that. It feels good that they are gone. It would have been a problem to keep both pairs. They would have stayed up inside. Then, I would be planning a second surgery.
I guess I can consider myself a eunuch. Maybe some eunuch would disagree since I now have fake balls.
Glad I made the decision and had the surgery done quickly. I would have been agonizing over the decision if I should or should not get castrated while COVID is going on.

Hey CFI10000,
I can t private message you until you have posted enough times to activate your private messaging feature on this website. Just wondering how you are doing more than a month after this last post ? Have you been proudly showing off your implants and how are they working and feeling for you ? Thanks.
