Morning activity
This was a nice spring morning until the wind kicked up about 10. A couple of planes flew overhead. For some reason I decided to get a McDs breakfast for family. The traffic at the drivethru was like 6:30 am two months ago. Anybody else notice that people seemed to be tired of self-isolation? Maybe what is called a false dawn or a dead cat bounce, but interesting.

Yes I've noticed it too. I went for a 3 hour motorcycle ride yesterday, and I was surprised at the number of other people out and about. Of course I have no idea what they were doing or going. Maybe they were out for a drive like I was. BTW, I keep my social distancing.

I haven't been off the property here in about a week. Went into town today, armed with a can of Lysol spray. Used the ATM, went to the other bank, a gas station, and then Wal-Mart. Everywhere was a mob. Crowds totally ignoring the social distancing thing. The grocery store lot was packed. McDonald's drive-thru was a mile long.
Not to open a political debate, but I fear that we're opening up a whole new "Round 2" for the COVID-19 thing, and the curve that we all sought to flatten will spring up like a mole run again!

Re: Morning activity
I have Plane Radar installed as an app on my phone and over Europe, air traffic is a fraction of what it was.
Not so for the States lots of planes still zapping around.
I went on vacation a while back and a day into it the country was put on lockdown ..Bummer
So I have been on this for 5 weeks now.
I do my weekly shop early I get to the shops at 8 AM and not crowded at all.
I did see some tosser on his cell phone having a debate to his other half on what to buy there .. Fine but clogging up the aisle so other shoppers have to walk by.
I am worried for you folks over there BTW and hope we all get through this.

Tosser = wanker?
Wish on him shivviness (thru Firefox found out about the Dictionary of Unusual Sorrows. Shivviness is that discomfort from wearing brand new, never worn before underwear).

I will Wish him shivviness also If I see him on his phone this coming Monday.
"Shivviness to you my good man" I will say, perhaps he will take it as a compliment until he googles it.

Re: Morning activity
The answer to social distancing is so simple. Outlaw showers and baths. Then, social distancing would pretty much happen by itself.

Rog, the new avatar makes me wonder if you only get tanned on the front side at the beach? I mean how can you roll over on that thang? Then, again, I bet the hottest MILF on the beach would break social distancing if you gave her that million-dollar Hollywood smile of yours and said, "I'll take off my speedo and put it over my face as a mask to protect you if you could just rub some lotion on my back for me. Please?"
