So, as a moderator, how do you want me to respond to rude and unnecessarily confrontational responses ?
Will I get banned if I rip a new asshole in these trolls online here ? Or will you moderators handle such posts ?
Having a past history of such things before being a moderator here, my moderation motto is strike only if it's harmful. I'd suggest in the future that you reach out to a moderator with your concerns before doing anything such as "rip a new asshole" on anyone. We can only help if we understand the concern.
Thanks for all of this input and advice, especially from the website moderators on how to handle future unnecessarily confrontation, rude, ignorant, and incediary post comments.
Its too bad more readers don t participate by writing comments on these forums. The numbers of readers are very high. Probably because most don t want to share their personal thoughts on these unconventional topics to begin with. And then seeing any rude comments on here that are just asking to start fights, make them avoid writing their thoughts. It takes guts to put yourself out there in writing post comments or story comments publically on such private and personal subjects. Responding with negative comments just kills forum threads dead in the water. And who gains from that ? No one but the dumb ass loser trolls.
The small number of regular forum participants and a mix of less frequent participants is what keeps these forums alive, interesting, and fun to participate in. I m always eager to see new people add comments or start new topic threads. The more people participating in discussions the more enjoyable it is for everyone.
Yes, this thread was started after me getting fed up with being sniped at in post comments too many times. People with various assorted mental, social, and behavioral problems do have a cross to bear in life. And it is THEIR cross to bear, not everyone else s burden to bear their deficiencies. They don t have any license to infringe on anyone else because of their glaring deficiencies or problems.
Hopefully this thread will be read by people into the future to remember that keeping this forum alive, meaningful, enjoyable, and functioning takes GOOD people willing to put themselves out there in posting useful and enjoyable comments that have value for other readers. And for other people to think before people take out whatever their own problems are on the other people generously and civilly posting on here.
Thanks for the supportive responses on here from the people wanting to see a vibrant and healthy forum continue on this website. Its great to see other people care and reaffirm that we all want to see a civil and friendly forum continue into the future.
