Looking for advice

Post by Jerrbear (imported) »

I’ve been considering getting gender nullification for over 20 years. It’s not a fantasy. I am currently permanently locked in a chastity cage and have been for the last 2 years. I’m ready to finally take that last step. But I need some advice:

1. Where close to northern Kentucky can I find a surgeon to perform this surgery?

2. How much does this procedure cost?

3. How long is the recovery/ healing time?

4. Is there any one locally willing to walk me through the process?

I’m finally ready to do this and after 20 years, I don’t want to wait much longer.

Welcome home, you are in the right place.

There are many ways to find what you are looking for. I have one important question. Have you been receiving any therapy from a psychologist? I know that having a gender identity of MTE (Male to Eunuch) is real and is as valid as MTF (Male to Female) or FTM (Female to Male).

It will much easier to find a transgender surgeon to help you if you have a therapist who can write you the required letters for the surgery.

Unfortunately, the surgeons I know of who perform the surgery are mostly located on the west or east coasts of the US.

There are many posts already published in the forum that answer your questions. I'd recommend reading them.

Further, only a real doctor (one that went to medical school, has a license to practice medicine and is trained in MTE surgery) should perform this procedure. DO NOT fall prey to anyone who is a "cutter". There are people out there in the world who will promise that they are able to castrate you or even do a full nullo. They will offer to do it for a fraction of the cost of a legitimate surgeon. DO NOT USE A CUTTER.

Again, welcome home - I'm glad you found us and glad you are asking some serious questions.

will that be enough to let me experience what it would be like to be a eunuch? I am suppressing my urges mechanically but as it is now, my balls are just in the way all the time. Have you heard anything from other “wannabes” that use chastity devices? Do you think this is a good step in the direction I want to go?

Based on my experiences, the chastity cage is to me just a start in seeing what function you will be loosing with castration, but I believe you should consider a period of chemical castration perhaps 6-12 months to fully realize what life would be like after castration. Not only would you lose the ability to get erections and orgasm unless testosterone is used but you would experience a reduced or non existent libido which is a eunuch's state. Chastity cages while good to potentially deprive one of the ability to have erections and orgasms is no where near the experience of being a eunuch.

Experiment nailed it. In addition, if the goal is very low testosterone/libido there are side effects to consider. A chemical trial is reversible. Also helps to have a supportive partner. Several times during my chem trial I wanted to quit. My wife was my rock, helping me push through the hard parts. Early on, mental and emotional challenges needed to be conquered. Then hot flashes and fatigue. Fatigue lasted the lasted the longest. Finally after nine months or so things settled down. After a year it became a normal way of life. We stayed chemically castrated for four years. My wife read that long-term hormone use can be unhealthy and suggested a permanent solution.

When castrated, there was no change. So the trial for us mimicked the real thing enough for us to be very comfortable making a permanent decision.

Good luck,

Don

Yes, forced chastity and castration are very different experiences. Although when caged, your penis will "learn" it can not become erect, and erections will cease. However the emotional and many other physical experiences are very different. Just because you enjoy chastity does not mean you will enjoy castration. When chemically castrated, I couldn't even wear my chastity device. My penis was too small and just slipped out. Definitely try chemical castration before anything permanent. There are lots of topics on here in the chemical castration forum that will educate you on everything you may expect.

Thanks for the advice everyone. To be honest, I haven’t had an erection in 4 years, so I’m already used to that. My partner has gotten used to the fact that I don’t get hard. The chastity cage is a reminder that The penis is basically useless. Also. Since I am no longer getting hard, the angle of my penis makes standing and peeing... challenging. The cage helps point it in the right direction, especially when sitting. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve had to cover my pants after using the restroom after getting urine all over me.

At this point, I am better off without anything between my legs and having only a small hole pointed in the right direction for a change.

Yes consider all aspects before making any "permanent" decision. You might love "forced" chastity the cage produces, I can personally understand that desire, but are you ready to have no libido, losing your interest in anything of a sexual nature perhaps even losing interest in your partner?

I enjoy being subject to chastity control but realize the total loss of libido without T replacement is a giant step I am not ready for. My short test using Androcur gave me some insight of what castration is like.

I've always thought that a bottom needs a penis like a fish needs a bicycle.

However, being in chastity with your hormones raging and not being able to use your "junk" is not the same as having no libido.

Being castrated and nullo will leave you both without a desire to have sex and the ability to do so.

The question is do you want to become submissive and at the mercy of a Top who controls your sexuality or do you want to have both no sex drive and no ability to get off?

Imagine two worlds.

The first is a peaceful domain in which you exist as a sexless person with no partner. You don't even think about sex and you aren't offering your body to anyone to use."

The other is a world where you are using testosterone to keep your libido high. Nevertheless, you are unable to cum because your only see organs are your mouth and your butthole.

Does either one appeal to you. If not, maybe becoming a nullo isn't for you.
