Re: Low dose E - Libido?
I have studied the research papers and talked to a man with prostate cancer who was castrated to stop it and is on low dose estrogen and we have talked a length about this he agrees that I'm well informed of the possible side effects of using low dose estrogen. I've told him how synthetic testosterone has been detrimental to my mental health causing depression anxiety how I've become angry all the Time and yell at everybody. I lock myself away in my bedroom and won't come out and won't eat. I have to force myself to eat at least once a day sometimes I skip a day I'm just not hungry. The only thing I can think about is sex all the time when I'm on testosterone. I excessively watch porn and masterbate for hours hurting my penis because of the nerve damage from my castration surgeries 4 in all I've lost all feel in my left groin and my whole penis. So sexual release is not attainable plus I'm impotent and no medications work. So I'm sexually frustrated all the time. I'm going to tell him all that and how I was seriously going to commit suicide by taking all of my medications and I'm on alot of them they would definitely kill me. I had lost all hope when I came across an article on sex addiction and what fuels it in men. It's the over abundance of testosterone. I was taking 200 ml ot testosterone cypionate a week and an anti estrogen medication twice a week. My total testosterone levels were 1050ng/dl and my free testosterone was above normal high levels by 50ng/dl so yes my testosterone levels were excessive and was fueling my moods and sexual addiction. I even ordered a chastity device that you needed to have a reverse prince Albert to secure it. I forgot I ordered it and it arrived today but now with no testosterone I don't need it. I do need low dose estrogen for my health so far the only problem I'm having is memory. My moods have changed 100 percent I'm happy out of the house talking to people and writing long posts about me. I'm not giving up if I can do it so can you. Remember who's paying the doctors you are. Go in prepared for a fight have evidence from research to show them you know what you are doing and what the consequences are of your choices. Keep strong because they are against you and are for themselves. Chesleyt

We're the customer and if the endocrinologist hasn't experienced life without T and with added E, then he doesn't have a basis to judge the value of it for you. He can make a decision and so can you. My, I'm sounding militant aren't I.
That wasn't quite what I meant. The endo should determine the dose, not just give what you ask for. My doctor referred me to him because he specializes in trans care.

That's why I need the endocrinologist to give me the estrogen I want it to be monitored by a professional so it is safely done. I can purchase them off the internet easily enough but don't have the experience and access to testing that they do. Chesleyt

I remember having excessive sex drive and it was pure misery. Much happier now without much T and with added female hormones. At some point I hope we'll break through to the medical community but it will be a struggle.

I hope you find that endocrinologist. Mine is concerned about blood clots, the risk of which seems to be dose-dependent and also on the form of estrogen. But being on T supplements is also risky and having "normal" T is awful.

Re: Low dose E - Libido?
I'm running the conversation through my head.
#1, Anxiety on T, no clear thought process, cloudy.
#2, Sleep sucks, not deep.
#3, Libido
Going to ask him for low does E, whatever level he wants, but if not then I will go with the link someone posted, already ordered
Either way my TRT stops next month and it's half dose with OTC Estro cream until then. (It actually gives some relief!).
