I think we can all appreciate your upset. The thing to do is accept what has happened and make the best out of it or you are going to spend a world of money to feel better about what can't be put right again. I was castrated a year ago, and honestly have never been happier in my life. Life is calm and peaceful now allowing me to do things that when I had nuts that wasn't possible. Life changes for each of us on a daily basis. Accept and move on.

Chesleyt: Don't worry. Life throws us curves now and then which often frustrates the living hell out of us. Frustration can be difficult to deal with but it can be dealt with. Many in the forum have gone through similar frustrations and often just need someplace to vent. We all understand. You've nothing to apologize for. I rather suspect taking 50 some medications on a daily basis is a full time job. Add to that, there are no actual right or wrong answers as we are all different so what works for one may not with another. Remember that doctors are only practice medicine. And often when we practice at things we make errors along the way in order to learn better methods to improve. But in most cases (even myself) changes for the better or worse happen over time. There are no quick fixes when it comes to our bodies and once we can realize that and accept it things become a bit more agreeable in our daily lives. Hang in there and keep on keeping on.

Yup, I agree with the above replies to your post. Life is a challenge at times. Keep going, and have faith that things will work out.

By its nature, many men do have normal and healthy sexual drives border on being obsessive. Its how nature keeps human reproduction going strong, even in the most adverse conditions imaginable.

No apology necessary that our intense male sex drives can sometimes make us seem obsessive. I think that happens to lots of men and it falls within the wide range of normal sexuality for us men. We can understand it manifesting in each other. No problem. Many of us know how strongly sexual urges can feel. Its just part of being a man and how our balls and testosterone can dominate our actions sometimes.

I'm starting to feel a little bit better it's going to be 3 weeks Tuesday that I stopped taking my testosterone and I can start to feel a little bit of my libido going away. I've also started antianxiety medications that's helping alot. I'm also talking sleeping pills and can now sleep so that maybe helping me. Surgery next Thursday and I'm feeling better about it.

Chesleyt,

I'm glad you are here. Vent if you need to and please keep us informed. Sometimes all we can do is listen and sometimes it's just about knowing you aren't speaking to an empty room. You contribute so much - I've never ever seen you bring a thread down.
