Re: Prostate surgery
Dry ejaculation is almost certain in every turp procedure it damages your urethral sphincter when they removed the tissue. Libido have your testosterone checked probably your levels are low but isn't that what you wanted you did say in your profile you wanted castrated.

Re: Prostate surgery
They put a curved needle through your urethra and all the way through the prostate and thread an anchor connected to a monofilament and on the urethra side there's another anchor that they synch up compressing the prostate between the anchors releasing the pressure on the urethra. I had it done 3 years ago and now am having a button turp January 30th because it failed and medications aren't working .

Re: Prostate surgery
4 days until surgery I'm starting to get nervous.i can't even watch a action adventure movie without it causing an anxiety attack and the doctor gave me something for it already I'm just supposed to use it when needed up to 3 times a and I've been taking 3 times a day for a week now the only thing that helps is I'm reading the old post on and its helping keep my mind occupied. I wish I knew how to use the chat room maybe talking to others would help.

Re: Prostate surgery
Try to stay calm Chesleyt. Think of it as an adventure. Relief from your urinary symptoms will be so nice, and there's a good chance that you'll recover without negative side effects.

Re: Prostate surgery
Curious as to how the proceedure went. You probably still have a catheter. I hope you fare better than my friend who was incontinent for 30 years until he died.
Got the Tadalafil, second dose, no changes, shorty is still short.

Re: Prostate surgery
It went well they didn't remove the whole prostate but hollowed out the inside through my urethra. I had to stay in the hospital until the next afternoon, they removed the catheter in the morning and I had to drink lots of fluids and be able to urinate. They had to scan my bladder after I urinated to see that I was completly emptying it. I've been home since Friday afternoon. I've been very tired and feeling achy. At first it hurt to urinate but now there's no pain and the urine is a little pink. I have to go out and see my chiropractor this morning, get some meds and groceries, then back home to rest.

Re: Prostate surgery
Went to the chiropractor and I was really out of alignment I was in alot of pain when I went in and came out completely pain free, he said it was because the anesthesia relaxes all your muscles and when they are positioning you for the procedure the bones move out of alignment, plus the hospital bed didn't help me either. I went out grocery shopping afterwards the only down side is that I couldn't lift anything over 10 lbs so my mother had to do all the loading and unloading of the car and bringing everything thing into the house all I could do is open the door as she carried in the groceries. I was out of the house for 5 hours today and it was 54 degrees and sunny it was a great day.
