I want to become asexual, whereas some people want to become gender neutral. Even if I did have an orchiectomy, I'm not sure if calling myself a eunuch would be accurate in the connotative sense if the latter is the more typical reason.

There is no doubt that having an orchiectomy makes you a eunuch regardless of how you feel. Reasons make no difference to why the body is changed. The fact remains if one has been castrated they are a eunuch. There are many asexual eunuchs as well as many asexual intact males.

Personally, I feel the need to pick wannabe until I have the surgery just so I can be honest with myself... but it doesn't feel good picking that option. I want to select nullo. ...soon...

When you actually have the surgery, I'll gladly welcome you to the nullo tribe. Until then you're nullo aspirant, nullo wannabe, etc. I have no ill will, and will take you as sincere, but the amount of pain one must go through to achieve it... I feel that needs to be experienced to wear the label. I hope you get to have that experience as soon as you can arrange it.

Thanks. I'm working with therapists to make sure I'm not making a huge mistake. But it sounds like I can get castrated by a cosmetic surgeon 25 minutes from my house with no therapist letter. I'd at least get to check the Eunuch box at that point. Nullo is something I want to be, but I don't want to lose my spouse along with my penis. I'd imagine I'm not the only person in this scenario.
