Personals

For those who identify as nullo in the personals and still have their bits should have their profiles removed. You should not identify as a eunuch if you still have operational balls and should not identify as a nullo if you still have a dick and balls. Who would agree with this?

Those nullo wannabes should update their profiles to be true.

Generally that's how I feel, but it's not my decision.

My feelings on this are formed by the fact I had to go through a lot of hoops and experience significant pain (the worst physical pain I've felt in my life) to become a nullo. So other throwing around they are a nullo and have not done anything are a bit offensive to me. This does not mean that can't become a nullo at some point (I would actually welcome them to the tribe), but they are not nullos until they can drop their pants and show there is nothing on their crotch.

I'm not nullo yet, but nullo is how I feel on the inside. Perhaps people treat the word the same way transgender is treated, i.e., you don't need surgery to be a transgender person.

Personally, I feel the need to pick wannabe until I have the surgery just so I can be honest with myself... but it doesn't feel good picking that option. I want to select nullo. ...soon...

I sort of agree that the body still having testes and penis is not hullo. Any more than a body without one or the other is intact. If the body has the parts the person shouldn't claim they are something else regardless of how the person feels. I don't claim to be a woman because I don't have the parts. What society claims I am may be another story. Just because society can't be honest with itself doesn't mean I shouldn't be honest with myself. Many times I feel female but touchy feely isn't reality. I am a nullo male who as it happens looks very female. I don't claim my physical being is something it is not. I let others think what they like. If asked I tell the truth. If not asked it's not for me to correct what makes somebody else more comfortable.

I have a question: Since I have naturally low testosterone levels for decades and have been prescribed a double dose of androgel (which I don't use, I hate the effect of unwanted testosterone flowing through me and it's very messy), not years, I consider myself already a eunuch.

What should I call myself? I'm a eunuch with testicles or maybe a pre-eunuch? It?

I struggled with this myself on my forum profile, tho my case is a little more complicated. Like you, I would be a eunuch by hormones if not physically (hence my username) though I do use my prescribed T. I'm also gender-nonconforming, and have my penectomy scheduled in April.

As validated by my therapist, my identity is "gender nonconforming" even while I still have my junk—even though I'm physically indistinguishable from a cis-male. I don't have a personals profile, but on my forum profile, I selected "Other" as my gender identity.

At the end of the day, I agree that selecting "nullo" when you factually still have genitals, without any further explanation is deceptive... but Maybe this points to a lack of granularity in the available options? Or maybe I'm full of it 😄:D

How about Chemical Eunuch? That is extremely honest.

I actually considered that, but it implies chemical castration, which in my case, is actually the opposite of what was going on.

Well, there is a medical condition called "prediabetic".

I suppose you could say you're "preeunuch".

It is an interesting problem. It isn't necessarily like "transgender" where everyone has the same motivation. I want to become asexual, whereas some people want to become gender neutral. Even if I did have an orchiectomy, I'm not sure if calling myself a eunuch would be accurate in the connotative sense if the latter is the more typical reason.
