I do not understand why you are so VERY negative and judgemental with your comments across several topics I read today. I am here to support others and receive support. I do not need the negativity from others, especially in the world where we live today. You do NOT know me or my medical history. For you to JUDGE me by telling me what is and is not normal and/or natural is not for you to diagnose. You are not my doctor nor my psychologist. In fact, you obviously have no idea what you are addressing in reference to me because you have no idea how my orchiectomy was completed (which is CLEARLY stated in my profile). So, while I cannot stop you from being so negative, and I will not commenting any further about this or any other comments you make here - even if I agree or not - it would be appreciated that you keep your negativity and (obviously) uneducated answers to yourself regarding posts or comments made by me.

Keep a very close eye on that. I had the same thing at my post-op review appointment, and it turned into a urinary stricture needing a second surgery. You'll probably be fine, but pay attention to if you start experiencing trouble urinating, and if you do, get in touch with the doctor quickly.

I joined your way.... The skin around the opening grew too close together and made the opening too small. Urinating became quite difficult. Yesterday I went to the doctor and he made a small incision. Now it's better and hopefully it will last. The next days and weeks will show.

Healing is now complete and almost everything is fine, but the area above the pubic bone could be shaped more flat. Maybe it will improve during the next months. If not, that might need a second surgery in the future. But currently I don't have any plans for this and wait how the area develops.

Sorry to hear that you had a stricture, when it starts to close over it's not a lot of fun. I hope the incision your doctor made helps to keep it open, that would be a better outcome than having to endure a second surgery to repair it.

Thanks! Yes, such a stricture does not only cause discomfort, but also some kind of panic because you don't know if it will become even worse and perhaps close completely. At the moment the incision did work and urinating is within an acceptable range. Some time it occurred that the opening seemed to be stuck together, but after some pressure it "popped" open and the stream was normal. Maybe there's some healing process that caused this.

Just a word: if someone needs a big push, then nullification is not the right thing. Either you want/need it, or you don't. Don't make your decision too much dependent on outer influence. YOU must be deeply convinced and need to have the feeling that nullification is right for you, not someone else.

Congrats on your progress. Very wise words. It was totally my decision and I'm very happy. Certainly can't have all the parts removed for someone else. It's a very personal decision.
