Hi guys,
Im a 25 y/o and I have a question for you.
In few words, masturbation has ruined my life.
Im no more able to dedicate myself to things I love, culture, movies, books, everyday life.
Nowadays, I have a strong castration fetish, and now realized that it is more than a simple fantasy.
Ive been followed by a therapist for almost two years, the conclusion has been that masturbating is completely normal, and dont need to blame it.
Since though I have this feelings, I dont know that to do.
Im not interested about sex or having sons, but Im stuck in this situation.
I imagine my life as a eunuch, no more terrible urges, I will become a new person, with time for myself.
Begun as fetish, now is something I consider strongly.
What do you think?
Happy new year
Should I do it?

I suspect that you have a problem with magical thinking. Your penis does not control your life; if you are allowing it to do so, you are short-changing yourself. Urges are controlled by your brain and thought processes, not by your penis. Take this thought to your therapist, and work on controlling your own life.

Yeah, this is NOT one of those cases where you can say, "I'll try anything once, twice if I liked it."
Nope.
Nope.

Well, before shedding body parts you may want to try chemical castration first. Now masturbation is not only normal, but physically and emotionally healthy. It only becomes unhealthy when it is an addiction. Before castration I masturbated nearly every morning. Surgical castration reduced the urges to once a week at most. However, cutting your balls off will not eliminate the urge, only lessen it substantially.

So long as you have made peace with the understanding that if you do get cut, that even if it doesn't go all according to how you envisaged, then you'll still be happy anyway. That is to say, you won't have regrets about having it done that outweigh your reasons for it.
Some of what you said I can relate to. It definitely helped me a lot to control my sexuality. But it did change me mentally, emotionally, and physically in other ways as well.
I'm guessing since you are here that you have exhausted all other viable options. Thus, if you can get past the first point I made, then I say go for it.
What made me definitely decide on not turning away from the decision was imagining in a decade, looking back, and being filled with such frustration and anger that I didn't have the balls (sorry lol) to go through with it. And here I am today. I am glad I had it done.
Happy New Year
