TRT But blocking DHT

Post by Tclosetgirl (imported) »

I am already fully castrated and on LOW dose TRT androgel.

TRT vs DHT, Interesting reading.

I want to talk to my endo on my next appointment (On Low dose TRT) about blocking DHT, but does it nullify the effects of TRT or does that free T just convert to estrogen?

If I read correctly 10% usually converts to DHT, the remaining to estrogen.

I would really like to just get to low dose E, even if my insurance won't pay for it (They won't).

Have a look at this article https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4837307/

Or google "Beyond Testosterone Cypionate"

It is an article outlining the evidence behind the use of Nandrolone in male health and wellness.

Its a bit wordy but does mention nandrolone has most of the properties of testosterone but missing the bit that converts to DHT.

This makes it popular with female bodybuilders as they get all the benefits they would get from taking testosterone but without the masculinity effect.

The article does recommend some testosterone be used alongside it though.

Taken on its own will lead to ED and a few other issues.

E isn't very expensive at all. Using a GoodRX coupon you can get 90 tabs of 1mg for $10 at Walmart. At least in my area. I understand that different regions maybe different prices.

You can buy Estrofem online at inhousepharmacy.vu. It is available in 1 mg or 2 mg tablets at a reasonable price. The more packs you buy the cheaper each extra one is. Plus you get a discount if the order is over $50. I have been buying from them for almost 15 years, and I have been very satisfied with their service. It always arrives promptly and there has never been a wrong order. Hope this helps.

E is well worth the very modest cost. It has made me a really happy guy.

I'm on testosterone cypionate and am having prostate problems so they put me on finastride to shrink my prostate I had been using it for 3 months and had to quit it because of sever muscle spasms. I'm going to see about nandrolone because it doesn't convert to DHT. Has anyone else had similar problems with finastride?

DHT is the last thing in the world you want in your body. It causes all the bad stuff like baldness, body hair in weird places, prostate problems. etc. Just make sure whatever medication you are taking decreases DHT levels down to zero.

FYI, dutusteride is far more effective than finasteride. If you don’t want prescription medication, pumpkin seed oil is supposed to work well.

Doctor just called in for dutustride and will be picking it up tomorrow and starting it. I just hope I don't have any more problems with the side effects.
